Exchange student shares wholesome story of her professor making her hiking experience more memorable

Teachers are kinder than we often give them credit for. That being said, like everything else, exceptions do exist here as well. However, we are sure that all of us have collectively come across such professors in life who do more for us than teach their subject - they connect with us. In a video originally posted by Isianna - who goes by @haiisianna on TikTok - she shows us how wonderfully one teacher went out of his way to connect with his students. 

She started the video with an overlay text that said, "Our professor invited the whole class to go for a hike and get lunch with him." However, she later added, "Only two of us showed up." But that didn't seem to affect the professor's spirit. The series of videos and images Isianna shared next will melt your heart. The first clip shows that the other student and Isianna are sitting while the professor cooks some meat for the two of them. The next image is of the professor from behind with a cap, tracks, and a walking stick. It shows us that that's when they embarked upon the hike, and the next frame shows us the stunning view from the hike. Then there's also this adorable picture of a brown puppy who seems to be yapping at them.

After that, Isianna seems to have captured the professor and the other student walking up the hike alongside another person who seemed to be pushing something with wheels. She then added a cute picture of a bird sitting on a rock in the middle of what looked to be a little creek of water. The next image is of the professor sitting in what looked like a wooden gazebo, along with some fruits and canned beverages. He seems to be in a conversation with someone or just looking far into the forest. And then comes the last clip, the most wholesome of them all, where the professor was cutting fruits for his students with such determination.

Isianna's heartwarming went viral, gaining nearly 13M views with 2.3M likes. People in the comments section are loving the teacher's attitude. When @lilreddxo commented, "Okay, I'm literally crying. I'm so glad you two could show your appreciation for him. Looks like he really tried," @haiisianna replied, "He really did. He brought us fruits and drinks and cut them up for us on our hike. I felt like a kid again. He's the kindest." Another user, @ajustine93, suggested, "Plan a hike and lunch day, and invite him! It'll validate him so much." @dinohwang exclaimed and complimented the professor's niceness by adding, "And to not even mention that fruit and beef in Korea are super expensive! It shows that he thinks of his students as family." 

A lot of the commenters appreciated the two students as well. @thelifeofgisel said, "He's probably lonely, thank you for being there for him," while another user, @shannonmaryob, said, "He looks so sweet. He will remember you guys." @antoblanchette dropped some truth bombs when they said, "People are not realizing that those are the most precious/best moments of your life. Don't miss out on small activities/opportunities." When @crittyneuf commented, "Respect to you two for showing up. Probably meant a lot to him," Isianna gratefully replied, "It honestly meant a ton that he's taking his time to do this. We are in Korea as foreign exchange students, so it was a big deal for him to invite us into his home." 

After receiving so many heartfelt comments about her professor, Isianna posted a follow-up video, where she shared that her media professor is grateful for people's sincere reactions. This wholesome video has also been posted on Instagram by @vacation and on Reddit by u/paracosmicmind, where it has garnered a lot of love and views.
