Amy had crashed into Kori's FIAT 500 mere days ago, so she wasn't expecting to hear from the couple anytime soon

Most people don't expect an apology for a car accident to arrive via an awkward 8:00 a.m. doorstep encounter, but for Kori (@koriblonde), this morning was anything but normal. It started with her boyfriend opening the door, expecting an Amazon delivery package. However, he was surprised to find Henry, Kori's ex-boyfriend, standing on the porch with a bouquet of tulips. Henry was there to make amends for his girlfriend Amy's actions, after she crashed into Kori's FIAT 500 just a few days ago. What happened next was pure comedy, as Kori narrated the entire incident on TikTok in a clip on July 1, 2026, which has since gained over a million views.
Realizing that Kori was asleep, her current boyfriend collected the flowers and the apology from Henry, then went on his way. However, instead of simply handing her the flowers and telling her where they actually came from, Kori's boyfriend improvised. He took the tulips, which were Kori's favorites, and presented them as a gift, smoothly taking credit for the romantic gesture. Naturally, Kori was impressed, given how cute the surprise was. However, that illusion wouldn't last much longer.

Just hours later, Kori received a text from her ex completely blowing her boyfriend's cover. "I hope you like the flowers," the text said. He further stated that she should take the flowers as an apology for what his ex-girlfriend did to her car. It was after this moment that Kori also revealed that she had received $5,000 from him to repair her car. Nonetheless, she then deliberated whether or not to ask for more money from her ex.
Kori has been searching for her next ride, about which she has been posting on her page, and she is yet to find a car that not only she likes but also fits her budget. So, she might also consider fixing her old car, if that turns out to be the cheaper option. Either way, she left the car drama behind at last and decided to go out for a 5K run to clear her head, as she continues her hunt for a new ride.

Thankfully, Kori's ex-boyfriend and his girlfriend were courageous enough to own up to their mistake. That's because about 43% of drivers who hit a parked car drive off without admitting to it. What's more surprising is that out of those who drove away, only about 50% looked back to check the damage, while the others deemed it so minor that they left without leaving their details, according to Gocompare's study. Additionally, while all types of drivers committed this act, the majority of them were younger drivers; about 14% were aged between 25 and 34.

Nonetheless, amid all this, people couldn't help but laugh about Kori's new boyfriend's finesse. @invis5233 wrote, "Him taking the flowers your ex brought and going 'I got you flowers' IS PRICELESS." At the same time, @blackaross_kir commented, "I hoped we're not mad at the bf because the 'I got you some flowers' is hilarious af." Additionally, @unknown_girl.162 suggested, "Just because it doesn’t sound good doesn’t mean you can’t do it; get that money, queen."
