Elderly man's interaction with adorable dog in a park is winning everyone's hearts

One such wholesome video of a dog being cheered on by an elderly man is making its rounds on the internet. Bosco—who goes by @boscoandhisbigstick on TikTok—a popular dachshund with over 1.3 million followers, was doing his routine walk at the park when he had a cute interaction with an old man. This video from 2021 went viral with nearly 58.4 million views and people were elated to see the sweet encounter.

Ever since 2020, Bosco has been winning hearts on social media with his love for big sticks. Whenever he finds a big stick or a branch during his walks, he carries it around in his mouth, captivating the onlookers. In this viral video, Bosco was walking around the park with a huge stick or branch in his mouth and an old man adorably cheered for him. As the old man greeted the little wiener, saying, "Hello, small fellow," the pooch tried to move aside to make way for him to pass. However, the old man simply said, "No, you go straight on mate," and made way for Bosco.

As Bosco trotted past him, the old man motivated him, saying, "Doing a good job. Well done!" The little pooch was one great spectacle, making the passersby giggle with joy. The old man was heard telling Bosco's owner, "Never did I see a cooler dog." Hearing the compliments, the cute dog's confidence went a bit up and he proudly strolled around with the stick. The video was captioned, "Looking to hire this man as my motivator." The internet couldn't get enough of this adorable dachshund and over 50K comments swarmed in.

In yet another wholesome video of Bosco's big stick adventure, he can be seen carrying a heavy branch that is quite bigger than the ones he usually picks. When the little pooch faltered with the weight of the branch, a kind stranger stopped in their tracks and picked up the stick, holding it for Bosco so that he could carry on again. "It’s ok to sometimes need a little help," read the caption and people adored this wholesome interaction. "Haha, He's like 'Wait a damn minute.
