Does Dwayne Johnson have a long-lost twin? People shocked by Utah cop who looks exactly like him

The Morgan County Sheriff's Office shared a picture of their officers on duty, on their Facebook page. Much to everyone's surprise and confusion, it looked like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson made a cameo in the picture. The picture's caption explained the duty of the Morgan County Corrections team that handles their role in the Morgan County Jail as well as transport when an arrest is made. There was no mention of what The Rock was doing in the picture and whether this was a new movie he was in and promoting. Well, that is because the man in the picture was not The Rock at all.

If you had to do a double-look and are convinced that there is no way that is not the former wrestler, you are not the only one. This is why the picture went viral and many people were skeptical of the same thing. Patricia Lynn Reu Karpf commented, Wow he does look exactly like the Rock. Brandon Ward said: Y'all can't tell me that isn't The Rock. One thing that has been confirmed is that the man in the picture is not The Rock. He is actually Patrol Lieutenant Eric Fields and is not the long-lost twin of Dwayne Johnson.

Lt. Fields is now making rounds on the internet as The Rock's doppelganger. A few days after the first picture went viral, a local asked another member of the law enforcement if he could get a picture with Lt. Fields. The Sheriff's Office shared the picture and wrote: This gentleman recently ran into our Sgt. Mason and informed him he wanted to meet our Deputy that people say looks like "The Rock." Sgt. Mason passed that along and Lieutenant Fields was happy to swing by the Hartselle Wal-mart to see him. Tyler is one of their many hard workers and it was great to meet him and some of his coworkers!

Fields was touched by the request. The 37-year-old officer said that his likeness to the Jumanji actor has been “a running joke” for a few years now. And now he has got the nod of approval from The Rock himself. Taking to Twitter The Rock wrote: "Oh s***! Wow. Guy on the left is way cooler. Stay safe brother and thank you for your service. One day we’ll drink Teremana and I need to hear all your “Rock stories” because I KNOW you got ‘em." The Sheriff's Office was thrilled at the interaction and asked The Rock to spend time with their patrol to help support Sgt. Chris Dillard's battle with ALS.

Speaking to AL.com he said, “I’ve been called The Rock and Vin Diesel’s love child. I go along with it. It’s humorous. It’s flattering. It could be worse people, I guess.” He sometimes even indulges the jokes and does impressions of the two actors. Fields also has a tribal chest and shoulder tattoo, just like The Rock. He is also a fan of the professional wrestler turned actor and his wife often buys him Dwayne Johnson paraphernalia for workouts. He is married to a nurse named Wendy and they have two children.

“I don’t want to disappoint anybody,” Fields said of the expectations people have of him for resembling The Rock. “I walk up one day and at a different angle, I don’t know. It’s flattering, but it’s also a little nerve-racking as far as what others expect I guess." He added, “I just plan on being me. I’ll cut up. I’m a big cut-up. If it comes up and somebody says that, I’ll play along. I really couldn’t be anybody but me. I’m just glad I could be part of someone’s happiness and laughter.”
