The all-new perspective of the famous snow-capped mountain has made people feel as if they were present there climbing along with it.
A commonly known place from an all-new perspective can leave people in complete awe. Similarly, footage of Mount Everest captured through a new device by a Chinese drone maker has captured the fancy of people around the world. The post by @yicaichina on X explained, "Chinese drone maker @DJIGlobal shared a breathtaking video of its DJI Mavic 3 Pro flying over Mount Everest on Weibo yesterday. The drone ascended 3,500 meters from the base camp to the summit of the highest mountain in the world."
The stunning footage of the snow-capped mountains started with the rigged land of the base camp traveling at a high speed and ascending as if you were running along with it. Along with the sunlit snow and the clear blue skies, watching the clip is like going on a beautiful journey without actually being there. Finally, after traveling through a wide stretch of rigged white nothingness, we reach smooth slopes with colorful tents put up by hikers like little specs on a white expanse. The snow with a combination of dents and infinite plain paths continues until we reach the foot of a cliff where more orange and yellow tents with people roaming around can be spotted.
However, this time we can see the tents and their different styles and colors more up close and in detail. The climb began changing between nothingness and people climbing up, looking like an endless line of ants. As the camera went higher, the number of people became fewer depicting how challenging the climb could be. The campsites got sparser as the camera kept going higher. At one point it seemed as if it was about to reach out for the clouds. But the journey is far from being done as the camera goes through a downward slope. At this point, one can see the peaks reaching higher than the clouds. After its descent, it passed through another campsite before beginning to climb up gain.
A trail of climbers was already there on the peak the drone was about to record. It had reached the 7,950-meter mark by now. As the drone reached the 8400 meter mark there was nothing apart from snow as far as the eyes could reach. At this point, the climb looked tougher than ever before as the slope seemingly made a 90-degree angle with the ground. Eventually, the drone reached the breathtaking and glowing golden summit of Mount Everest, a sight that few people get to witness with their eyes. The summit was a gigantic peak with a ring of clouds around it. So dense, that it was nearly impossible to see the land beneath. The awe-inspiring video received over 390k views and more than 3.6k likes.
This is one of the coolest videos I have ever seen.
