A dog named Storm managed to sneak into a Metallica concert last month in Inglewood, California, and seemed to have a jolly good time.
A dog named Storm created quite the storm at a Metallica concert recently. Last month she happily snuck away from home and attended the metal band's concert and sat around for the whole show! Many fans wondered if somebody had abandoned their four-legged companion at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood but Metallica themselves updated the story, posting on Twitter and saying, "Despite reports to the contrary, our friend Storm snuck out of her home adjacent to SoFi Stadium and made her way to the gig all by herself. After a full night taking in the show with her Metallica Family, Storm was safely reunited with her actual family the next day."
It looked like Storm thoroughly enjoyed the sold-out show, according to the heavy metal band, who posted a picture of the adventurous pup seemingly watching the show as she was seated at the venue. Calling her their "four-legged fan" the band added that she "had a great time listening to her favorite songs, including 'Barx AEterna,' 'Master of Puppies' and 'The Mailman That Never Comes'" which were tongue-in-cheek references to some of the band's most well-known songs. "And in case you were wondering, no. You definitely shouldn't bring your furry friends to the M72 World Tour," the band added. "But this dog sure did have her day."
You might have heard we had a four-legged fan join us for #M72LA! Despite reports to the contrary, our friend Storm snuck out of her home adjacent to @SoFiStadium and made her way to the gig all by herself.

A family who lives next to SoFi Stadium said their German Shepherd escaped from their yard on August 2, reports WKRC. According to the Animal Hope & Wellness Foundation, she was brought to a shelter nearby by animal services soon after the concert. The next day she was reunited with her family. "Based on the owner's Facebook page, the dog looks cared for and loved," the foundation said in a Facebook post. "Thank you to everyone who helped to share the post."
Her owner, Arizbeth Hurtado, said they’d learned something new about Storm. “She is home and safe! We learned something new about her... she is apparently a huge Metallica fan who decided to sneak out for the concert!” We were laughing so hard when we saw she was SITTING IN AN ACTUAL SEAT AT THE CONCERT,” she joked on PetHelpful, per The New York Post.
Many people were surprised as to how the dog into the concert. Facebook user Ronnie Compton commented, "I see people asking how this could happen, well... I have a fat little pug and he loves people, and he loves food! If he smelled hot dogs he'd find a way in that venue! A while back, he snuck out when my dad opened the door, thankfully I found him within the hour. He was a couple blocks over at a party! He was sitting around their campfire with all the partygoers. They were feeding him cheeseburgers and giving him a lot of attention. He was having fun and didn't want to leave!" Robin Millis added, "Sounds plausible to me. My husky escaped from my house and walked down to the river where she jumped on someone's boat. She wanted a ride. She just sat there while they rode around and after they docked, she came home. One of the guys followed her and told me the story." Rashmi Td joked, "Pup wanted to see Metallica! Can you blame him? I paid hundreds of $$ to see them and there this little pupper saw them for free. Must be a good doggo."
