The elderly neighbors care about the dog with all their heart and even keep a pack of treats for her at their house.
Pets bring true joy to our lives and sometimes, they also bring joy to the life of those who surround us. In a video uploaded by @charlythemaltese13 on TikTok, we see a dog going to his neighbor's place and smothering them with love. The video begins with a dog named Charly walking down the road and going to a house. He jumps with joy to reach this house and climbs the stairs to reach the door of this house. As he gets to the door of this house and barks and jumps near the door, the owners of the house open the door for the dog. He soon smothers the house owner with love, which is a pure delight.
As we move ahead in the video, we see that the neighbor's house has a wall full of pictures unique to them and there is also a picture of Charly here as he is seated in a car. At last, we see the dog sitting on a couch with the house owner and he gently strokes the adorable pet. The text overlay of this video reads, "When your dog is best friends with your 85-year-old next-door neighbors." The video is captioned, "Charly loves her neighbors!" Everyone on the video-sharing platform has widely loved this video.
People have appreciated how adorable this video is. @sssshiquitita commented, "Such a sweet baby. They probably look forward to these visits so much." @mommalu55 observed, "Wow 85 yrs old and can kneel to give him treats. What sweethearts they are." @hollie..goulding wrote: "Oh please tell me she has sleepovers at her best friend's house." "I can’t even handle cuteness in this video," commented @taralindsay32.
In another heartwarming story about a pet dog, Annie, a 19-year-old black Labrador, was given around a month to live when she was placed for adoption in June 2022. Annie's former owner had given up hope and surrendered her to the shelter house Powerful Rescue in Dallas, Texas because she wouldn't eat or drink. Once Lauren Siler, 31, discovered Annie's photo, she knew she had to help. Instead of a month or two, Annie was fostered by Siler and her roommate, Lisa Flores, for an entire year, as per USA Today.

Annie even got to complete a bucket list full of experiences. The pet pooch got to celebrate her 20th birthday, "two Christmases," and also appeared on a billboard. She also "walked out onto the TX Rangers baseball field, made the news, headlined events and literally inspired millions. "It ended up being a full year of adventures for Annie," Siler expressed. "People kept telling us she was having so much fun."

"Annie had the life we pray every senior dog we rescue gets to experience. Annie didn’t just live out this past year, she thrived. Annie had bloat and her stomach had done a complete 360 flip. Surgical intervention was her only option and that was never something we would put Annie through. Collectively, we made the hardest decision for us but kindest for Annie," Siler wrote on Instagram. "I can’t help but think that Annie would be so proud," Siler wrote in a separate Instagram post.
