Dog clutching 'dinosaur' toy and nervously watching 'Jurassic Park' is desperate to save the 'hoomans'

Dogs make the world a better place to live in. These furry friends fill our lives with joy and laughter with their adorable antics. Even those who can't raise a dog at home, rejoice at the myriad of dog videos on the internet. Amid many such amusing clips where the four-legged angels exhibit human-like behavior, one particular video has stolen millions of hearts online. Barney, a Border Collie who goes by @barneythetvbordercollie on TikTok is quite popular for reactions while watching interesting movies. His "Jurassic Park" reaction recently made headlines for how adorable and relatable it is.

As the video begins, we can see Barney standing too close to the TV holding a dinosaur plush toy in his mouth. The scene from the first "Jurassic Park" film where the two kids encounter Velociaptors in the kitchen is playing on the TV. As tension slowly builds in the movie, Barney is not able to hold back his nervousness. Just like we churn in our seats while watching a nerve-racking scene, Barney starts getting skittish. He sprints back and forth in the room and is quite stimulated due to the sounds.  

Whenever the Raptors appear on the screen, he rushes toward the TV and starts barking at them. Whereas, when the kids appear, he calmly waits to see what unfolds next. The interesting yet adorable part is how Barney makes sure not to topple the TV down with his quick actions. It is as though he was defending the kids in the movie by trying to scare the dinosaurs away with his toy dino. The post from February has garnered 250K likes so far and thousands of users showered their love for Barney. One person, @calikat911 pointed out, "Surprised that TV is still standing," and Barney's parent replied that despite everyone's concern, the TV has no damage because of the pooch. They added in the caption, "Barney is not scared of Raptors." 

The post recently went viral when a Reddit user shared it on the platform. Barney's cute and protective reactions were loved by many. "It's fascinating to see how the dog reacts not just to the threat, but also to the emotion being portrayed. He can totally tell that the kids are afraid and he wants to protect them. Dogs are incredible," said u/Ravyn_Rosenstock. "Jurassic Park is one of my favorite movies of all time and I would do just about anything to watch it with this amazing dog. Now I am going to have to watch the movie with each of my 3 dogs to see what they do," chimed in u/ZarinaBlue.

Among many other adorable reactions of Barney watching thrilling movie scenes, the one featuring "Lion King" went insanely viral. With a monkey plush toy in his mouth, Barney was restless watching Mufasa being run over by a stampede as the wicked Scar betrays him. He even got a bit quiet and gloomy when the little lion cub, Simba was emotional about Mufasa's death. Barney simply reflects how pure and innocent animals are when it comes to understanding emotions.
