Little children believe stories of magic, fairies and beasts very easily and with enthusiasm. Aside from being innocent, their sweetest and almost unexpected gestures touch people's hearts. Similarly, a note by German actress Diane Kruger–who goes by @dianekruger on Instagram–to the tooth fairy is all sorts of adorable and wholesome. The simple, sweet note has left people on the internet in awe. The little girl, Nova, lost her first tooth and wanted the tooth fairy to do her a little favor. The adorable letter the girl wrote for the tooth fairy was shared by her mom, Kruger, on the platform.

The note was kept on the girl's bedside table under a clock. There was a little Peppa Pig toy as well as Nova's tooth kept in a little heart-shaped box for the tooth fairy. The note read, "Dear Mouse, I would really like to keep my tooth for my dad for Christmas. Please, please, please, would you let me keep my tooth? Love, Nova." The girl had signed her name on the note, which seemed to be written in an adult's handwriting. She had also doodled all over the page and had drawn several things like stars, shooting stars and hearts for the tooth fairy. The caption to the post read, "Be still my aching heart."

The kid perhaps wanted to include her dad in her big moment in some way. Nova's dad, actor Norman Reedus, was away from home on a project when the 5-year-old lost her tooth, per Comic Sands. Thanks to his daughter's gesture and the tooth fairy's probable generosity, the actor might not miss his daughter's moment. The post garnered a lot of attention on social media and many people took to the comments to express how absolutely heartwarming the little girl's innocent gesture was. Many people also shared their experiences with other kids.

@missbritty3 wrote, "She's already losing teeth!? I feel like my kid is way behind on the tooth fairy train. PS- this is absolutely adorable." @princessbun_ee commented, "Imagine Norman unwrapping his Christmas present to find Nova's tooth…. he'd put it on display, I know for sure." @dinapoli_rita remarked, "Of course you can, sweet Nova. But that mouse better leaves you money under the pillow anyways." @_chasingmoonbeams shared, "Well, this is just the most precious thing I needed to see today for cheering up a little after a long day. What a sweet little girl!"

@amandalc216 expressed, "Oh my God, stop it! She's just too adorable! I hope she gets what she wants and the tooth fairy listens to her sweet request." Another user recounted, "My mom kept all my brother's baby teeth in a bag in her purse. Their discovery led to the demise of his belief in Santa, the Easter bunny, the tooth fairy, etc." Yet another user disclosed, "One time, the tooth fairy left me 20 bucks. The next night she left me a note saying there had been a mistake and I must put the money back under my pillow. Then I got one dollar with a pack of certs mints."
