Delta pilot's wholesome gesture for a 2-year-old boy is winning everyone's hearts

Kindness makes the world a better place and provides hope to everyone. This Delta pilot proved to be an angel for a family with his genuine and kind gesture. A woman named Marina—who goes by @marinagilliland on TikTok—was watching airplanes take off with her son and husband while waiting for her flight. A pilot sitting inside a Delta plane saw the excitement with which the 2-year-old named Teddy was watching planes and waved at him. He later decided to make the child feel even more special with some adorable gifts.

The text overlay on the video reads, "The sweetest moment happened to our baby in between flights." The dad and the 2-year-old could be seen sitting and spotting planes from the airport and the child's excitement knew no limits. Meanwhile, a pilot looking at the father-son duo started to wave at the boy from the inside of the plane. The text overlay read, "The kindest pilot noticed our son watching planes and caught his attention." The child also waved hello back at the pilot. After the brief gesture, the pilot came to meet the boy and said, "I brought some trading cards and some wings" and asked the dad if it was okay to give the gifts to the child.

The mom exclaimed, "Oh yeah!" The 2-year-old was standing behind a seat, so his dad brought him out to receive the gift from the pilot. "I brought you a whole bunch of cards. These are the different airplanes," the pilot told the child. He also showed the picture of the airplane parked behind and then said he could keep all the cards. The sweet pilot also handed out small wings to the child. The kid said, "Thank you" and again waved at the pilot. The pilot also told him that he had been waving at him from the airplane and that was when the child could connect that it was the same person. The video ended with a thank you note to the pilot. "Thank you to this Delta pilot who took time out of his day to make ours."

One of your pilots, who I think had just flown back from Nice, made our trip back home so sweet with this little moment of kindness while we were watching planes take off to entertain our little boy.
