Delivery driver pretends to be a preacher after noticing woman's 'hide packages from husband' doormat

With online shopping sites blooming globally, people are on a shopping spree like never before. However, some husbands take on the role of self-appointed budget enforcers, attempting to curb their wives' endless scrolling through endless deals and irresistible offers. Similarly, a content creator Stephanie—who goes by @stephanielerin on TikTok—discovered the perfect solution to this: a doormat that read, "Hide packages from husband." The doormat worked like a charm. An Amazon delivery driver, clearly understanding the assignment, went out of his way to conceal a parcel from Stephanie's husband. She shared the hilarious video on TikTok, where it garnered over 35 million views.

The video captured the exact moment when the delivery guy arrived at the door and rang the bell. While he was busy scrolling through his phone, he noticed the doormat's message. Without any second thoughts, the kind man decided to follow instructions and cleverly tucked the package out of sight near the side of the door. Notably, he also clicked a picture of the doormat before leaving the package. While the delivery guy was turning to leave, Stephanie's husband opened the door and asked if he had any packages. "No! I don't. I'm just here to tell you about Jesus Christ," the guy immediately said, pretending to be a preacher.

The TikTok video received an overwhelming response, with viewers thoroughly enjoying and laughing at the incident. For instance, @krishud48 commented, "Man could have said he realized he at the wrong house but instead preached the gospel in an Amazon uniform." Similarly, @ken_san07 wrote, "Man was fighting for his life trying to find a good excuse. He coulda just said the wrong house." On the other hand, @tamaravanderent made a wild guess about why the delivery guy was so supportive and wrote, "Omg! In the follow-up video, Stephanielerin revealed how the delivery guy cleverly dodged her husband by pretending to be a preacher.

When her husband told the delivery man they were busy having dinner, the driver, seemingly caught off guard, apologized for "bothering" them and left without mentioning the mysterious parcel. Despite the tense situation, the delivery man remained composed and successfully kept the secret.
