There was no yelling or exaggerated expressions. The daycare worker came up with an effective way to handle the kid's anger.

Sometimes, it is amazing how children observe the people around them so well that they try to imitate them. But parents have to be careful because as much as the little ones learn the good things, they also learn the bad stuff, like swear words from their observation. Though it is unavoidable to shield kids from such negative things, one can learn how to handle it at the least. Tina Midkiff, a daycare worker and a mom of four who goes by @mommaevilone on TikTok, shared a video about how she handled a child's cussing problem at the childcare center. This viral video garnered over 16 million views and many favored Midkiff's method.

Being a mother herself, Midkiff knew well enough to get the little girl's mother's approval to post this video. At the beginning of this video, Midkiff was directing the little girl into the bathroom in the daycare. She told her, "All right, now listen. Since we've had some issues with cussing. You're only gonna cuss in the bathroom, okay? We are not cussing anywhere but in the bathroom." Apparently, the child had used expletives when other kids were around, which made Midkiff act on it instantly. The child agreed to Midkiff's instructions that she would only cuss or give the finger in the bathroom. "Because we can't teach our little friends that we're doing this," said the daycare worker.

Midkiff did not just stop there. She asked the little one to let her emotions out in the bathroom, reassuring her that her mommy had approved it. "Mommy said, it's okay for you to do this in the bathroom, okay? That way, you don't get in any more trouble and we can move forward," informed Midkiff to the little one. The daycare worker ensured that the little one understood her and then left the place so that the child could blow off steam. What happened next was both funny and thought-provoking. The little girl started saying every cussword she knew and all those bottled up profanity came out.

The daycare worker was watching the child's actions live from outside. When Midkiff asked the girl if she was done with the cussing, the little one said, "No" and proceeded to get a few more swearwords off her chest. Finally, when the girl was done, Midkiff entered the bathroom and asked, "Did you get it out of your system?" to which the little one nodded. The considerate daycare worker told the child that it was not appropriate to do that around her friends anymore. Giving the kid a peck on her forehead, Midkiff thanked her for paying heed. This viral video has impressed many on social media. Some joked about how the need for cussing in the bathroom was so relatable.

"She was frustrated. Baby girl needed to get all of it out of her system. I love that she had the freedom to express herself," wrote @madamebutterfly169. "Kudos to you for being a caregiver who wanted to find a solution instead of chalking her up to being a bad kid," lauded @jjchurchwell. "Honestly, I admire that she’s being worked with on this like this. Good job!" commented @stoneygnomey. "I feel like locking myself in the bathroom and doing this at work sometimes. I get it," wrote @lanunez34
