Daughters give dad a heartwarming surprise by randomly coming home for lunch together

Parents always find it difficult to come to terms with being alone once their children have flown the nest. It's no secret that most parents would nothing more than to see their children back home with all the laughter and smiles. Mary Lengemann and her sisters knew their parents had been alone for a while and decided to spring a surprise on them. They randomly showed up for lunch one afternoon at their parent's place. Mary shared a video of her dad stunned to see them all home. 

The girls, presumably in college, were seated at the table having lunch. They carried on with their meal like it was a regular day. The video shows their dad walking into the room and being stunned by their presence. He lets out a happy chuckle as the three girls in unison say, “Hello!” The text overlay read: “Surprising your dad by all coming home for lunch on a random Friday.” The dad continued to stare in disbelief looking at his girls sitting together at the dinner table. 

“What’s going on here?” he asked with a huge smile on his face. The girls burst into laughter. Their mom filled in saying, “These three 'stranglers' decided to arrive here.” The dad immediately came and hugged Mary who revealed in a comment that her sisters had come into their hometown a week ago and she had only arrived on that day from Florida when they all randomly decided to show up at home for lunch. He caught up with her in an inaudible conversation. 

Several people joked that Mary might be the favorite child while others were filled with awe at the dad’s affection and gleaming eyes at the sight of his three daughters. Many dads remembered their kids, especially their daughters, and how precious they are. @now_thats_fun said, “As a parent, this means so much to me. Love that you did this.” @girldad406 said, “I hope my daughters do this for me, this is the best.” @notlocnalyd said, “If my kids do this, it will be the best day ever.” @yourunceal said, “I love this, you girls are incredible.” @jennings140 said, “All you girls saying hello in succession is awesome.” Many people were worried about the dad not greeting the other two girls but Mary explained that she had arrived on that day while her sisters had already been home for the past week.
