Cancer can be an isolating and overwhelming experience. During such a time, a person needs support from family and loved ones. And one father understood that assignment. When his daughter opened up to him about the emotional toll of her cancer treatment, his lighthearted response caught her completely off guard. And now, their sweet exchange is making millions smile online. 22-year-old Dalilah Agbisit, who goes by @dalilah.biscuit on TikTok, shared a video documenting her hair loss following radiation treatment. In the clip, she holds up a small clump of hair that's fallen out and writes, "Losing hair due to cancer treatment and my dad sends back this."

The video then cuts to her father, Adam Agbisit (@adamagbisit), who is sitting at work. With a completely bald head, he mimics Dalilah's gesture, pretending to pull hair from the side of his own head before holding it up and staring seriously into the camera. His delivery was so deadpan that it left Dalilah cracking up. "It made me laugh for sure," she said, per Newsweek. Her father "always tries to remain lighthearted during hard times and his humor has got me through a lot whether it be some small thing I'm stressed over or what I'm going through right now," she further said.

Dalilah is currently stationed at Fort Stewart in Georgia with the U.S. Army and began radiation treatment earlier this year after surgery to remove a tumor in her parotid gland, per the outlet. She was diagnosed with stage 2 acinic cell carcinoma, a rare salivary gland cancer. The journey has been tough, but her dad's long-distance support has made a major difference. She said, "He's been doing everything he can from far away to make sure I'm taken care of and remain in good spirits through everything." Her video garnered nearly 3 million views. In the comments, people were moved not just by her vulnerability, but by her dad's unique brand of comfort.

@heyitsjeydon1 jokingly asked, "I'm so sorry you're going through that, but what in the heck was your dad's response? It got me rolling." @xwrongwongx added, "He said, 'Sweetie, it's not cancer, baldness runs in the family.'" @shelby_head joked, "It is nice of you to go bald in support of your dad." @chessie_2154 chimed in with, "I don't think you really know what a bad day is." @crimsnhark quipped, "This is taking the 'you look so much like your father' to a whole different level." Some shared their own hilarious anecdotes. @peglegthegreat shared, "I lost my hair too from chemo and my dad would call me his 'bald eagle.'"

@ohboycharart added, "I was losing patches of hair due to waking up from a coma, and when I told my best friend, she said, 'Just like George Costanza!' That made me laugh so hard that I never felt that bad about the hair again." Dalilah also let people in the comments know that she won't lose all of her hair, only on the right side of her face and neck, where treatment is focused. She thanked everyone for the kind words, saying she just wanted to share a simple moment between a father and daughter and was touched to see how many people connected with it.
