Daughter surprises her parents with her new puppy and their reaction is absolutely wholesome

The joy of having a pet in the family is unmatchable. Victoria (@vixxxxxb) shared a video on TikTok of her parents meeting her dog for the first time and their reactions are purely heart-warming. They were so accepting of the new little family member and were emotional just looking at him. The woman gave some background as to why they were feeling this way.

"Backstory: I recently lost my 12-year pit mix to cancer and my parents took it just as hard as I did and have been just as lost without her," the daughter captioned the post. The video begins with Victoria entering her parent's home and her dad can be heard saying excitedly, "You are here early?" and she responds, "Yeah." Then he comes out and sees the new puppy in her hand and goes, "No way! You got a new puppy." Meanwhile, he takes the dog from her and cuddles him. The man looks emotional and says, "Oh, look at him. Look at my new baby." Then the dad asks if it's a boy or a girl and his daughter tells him that it's a boy and his name is "Archie." 

The dad then pats the dog and emotes, "Ohh, Archie! You are beautiful." Victoria interrupts and tells him that she needs to show him to her mom also but he doesn't hand the puppy to her. Just then, the mom walks in and as soon as she sees the puppy, she goes, "Oh my God!" The dad introduces the pet to his wife, "This is Archie, isn't he beautiful?" She says, "Aww," looking at the new puppy. The dad continues to pet the dog, kisses him, and says, "He is beautiful. We got a good one." Victoria's mom also starts to pet him and shares that he looks scared with her husband.

It ends with the daughter saying, "Look at his eyes, they are green." They all seem equally in love with the new pet but the dad was the one who was the most emotional. People loved the man's reaction. @kelseymaher07 commented, "'His name is Archie! Isn’t he beautiful' - the best grandparents." @rondunn wrote, "I love the fact that this man was already at like an 8/10 excitement just for his daughter coming over a little early and then went to a 56/10 when he saw the puppy."  

@anykelly437 expressed, "Archie is gonna be so spoiled. Grandma and Grandpa will be his best friends. Thank you for loving pitties." @marecall said, "I feel like your dad needed that just as much as you. He said, 'We got a good one.'" @crystalhardy816 wrote, "Your parents are the sweetest ever. Your dad completely fell in love the second he saw Archie."
