It is not just the big events in life that are core memories for children. Some of the little fun moments can mean a great deal. In a similar incident, a dad agreed to play in the rain with his little girl, which is likely to become a core memory. A video shared by mom Lanie Churco—who goes by @laniechurco—featured a beautiful moment between a father and daughter that has warmed people's hearts on the internet.

As the video began, the girl ran up to her dad and asked, "Daddy, can I please dance in the rain with you?" The dad gasped and mom pointed out, "Aw! It's raining so hard." Nonetheless, the parents seemed excited at their daughter's wish. The dad scooped the girl up and started running out as the excited girl expressed, "It's gonna be so fun!" As they reached outside, the girl's mom, who was following them behind the camera, said, "Oh my goodness!" as she looked at how hard it was raining. "Alright. There you guys go, dance in the rain." The dad and daughter held hands as they went towards the end of their driveway and twirled as they danced in the rain together.

"That is so sweet," the mom exclaimed as the dad picked up his daughter and did some classic ball dance moves. The mom happily cheered for them even as the duo came back soaked, as pointed out by the daughter. "We are soaked," the dad agreed. But as she asked for one more dance, the dad agreed without hesitation. As the thunder rumbled, the father and daughter went out for a second to enjoy the rain a little longer. "Oh my gosh, the thunder's a paid actor," the mom laughed. "Little ballerina and her Prince Charming," the happy woman commented as her husband danced with their daughter.

The dancing, jumping and running got a little more intense before the girl and her dad returned inside. "I wanna dance in the rain," the girl said for a third time. "We did," the dad responded. The mom jumped in and pointed out, "Hear that thunder? I think we need to go inside." She asked her daughter, "You wanna go inside?" The girl finally agreed to go in as the video ended. People took to the comments to appreciate the adorable moment between the father and daughter.

@tamethahelms shared, "So precious. My daddy would do this with me. The day I got married, it rained hard and ruined the outdoor reception. But when the father-daughter dance started, daddy took me outside and we danced in the rain... Everyone followed. It was something I'll never forget. I just buried my daddy earlier this year. But the memories of us dancing in the rain will last forever... I did this with my son. Now, he does this with his daughter. Keep those memories close." @doraarmanns wrote, "This is wonderful. Thank you! I've done the same with our kids! It's wonderful to dance and run outside in the rain! Dancing, in general, is so good for the soul! All the best to this beautiful family." @irishitasatapathy commented, "I love the fact that they are letting her have fun instead of saying that she's gonna catch a cold or get sick (she's blessed)."
