Dad's top-notch acting as a cashier during playtime with his daughter is pure delight

The bond a dad and a daughter share brings out the best and the sweetest side of a man who otherwise generally acts macho. Whether it’s playing with their toddlers and seeing them win at life or even making mistakes and helping them get back up, fathers cherish even the most mundane memories with their baby girls. TikTok mom Erin shared a video of her little daughter having this mundane yet wholesome memory with her dad and it’s everything. The dad, on the other hand, is going viral for nailing his act as a cashier during the duo's playtime. 

The dad is seen, sitting at a table put together with cardboard, presumably made by the father-daughter duo for their precious game. He wears a wig of a single braid on top of his hair to hilariously pose as a cashier. He kept a trolley beside him and pretended to check the items his daughter handed him over while engaging in the most hysterical conversation possible. With a fake girly voice, the dad asked, “How are you today? Did you find everything you needed in the store?” As he continued to abruptly cash the groceries, having no clue how it worked but making the game intense, he asked further, “What are you going to do with all these groceries? What are you making sugar?” The daughter was loving every bit of it and as she patiently waited by the line, she responded, “I’m going to make a pumpkin pie.”

Right from the accent, the phrases and the questions, the dad had sure got the perfect skills to be his daughter’s special cashier. “Are you going to put a lot of pumpkins in it or puree?” the dad asked, deeply into the conversation. The toddler, having no clue of what he meant, said, “I am going to put in fish.” As soon as the dad was done checking the items, he leaned in and, with his girly and squeaky voice, asked, “You are going to put fish in your pumpkin pie? Where’d you learn that from?” Moving on to the payment of the “groceries,” the dad shared the bill with his daughter. “Okay honey, your total is, with the Biden inflation, $162.95. Would that be cash or credit?’ the dad added. The girl quickly removed her card to pay and handed it over to her dad. “Swipe it in,” her dad said. As the daughter was enjoying her dad’s role-playing, she went on to swipe the card again.

“One time honey, we don’t double charge,” the dad said. “Uh-uh, one time,” he repeated as the girl giggled her way to swipe the card yet again. Having the time of her life, she was simply enjoying pushing the card in and her dad, true to his role, kept insisting that she stop. “Should I call my manager,” he sarcastically said. The girl burst with laughter and persisted when her dad took the card from her and hilariously remarked, “Here, I’ll take that, keep it in my bosom.” It was a laugh riot watching the father-daughter duo not have a care in the world and just go all out enjoying themselves. @crackerbarrell said, “He understood the playtime assignment.” Even the Aldi store,@aldiusa replied saying, “We love to see a fast and efficient checkout experience.”
