Dads hilariously imitate their daughters posing for pictures at the beach: 'Classic dad move'

Wherever you go in public these days, you will most likely find people taking photos for social media. What would you do as a parent if you noticed your children constantly documenting content for Instagram and TikTok instead of being present in the moment? Some might intervene and ask them to limit their social media usage and instead enjoy time with those around them.

However, two dads took a different approach when they saw that their daughters are spending all day posting and clicking pictures rather than spending time with their family. A hilarious video posted by @barstoolsports on Instagram shows how they resorted to embarrassing their kids by imitating them.

In the video, the two young women can be seen engrossed in a photo shoot, with one acting as the cameraman while the other kneels in the water and poses for the camera. They garner some attention from the crowd, but the real stars on the beach are their fathers, who are mimicking their photoshoot poses a few meters away. One dad strikes some thirst trap poses while the other dad records his antics in a squat position while the rest of the beach enjoys the hilarious moment.

However, it is clear from the expressions of the two girls that the embarrassment was successful and that they will take great caution the next time they decide to plan a photoshoot session while on vacation.

The daughters pleaded with their fathers to stop embarrassing them and many can relate to their feelings. Dads always have fun embarrassing their children. Yet, despite their quirks, we love them dearly and their unconditional love for us makes up for any awkward situations they create. It's their role to show us affection in their unique ways and poke fun at us when we least expect it.

The video was also posted on Reddit by u/Kafadafada where it garnered over 32.5K upvotes and people in the comments could not get enough of this dad duo. "Praise the photographer, holding that squat. Deaaaamn," said u/Blueswift82. "Guys just cutting grass, taking pictures of their yard, preferred beer tastes, OnlyDads a place for the guys," quipped u/MrDubTee. "Whew, I feel hot under the collar all of a sudden. Was not expecting such overwhelming s** appeal in this subreddit, but I am smiling!" said u/Anon754896. "I lost it when the dad model started to do that feisty cat swipe," wrote u/SalamanderCake.

"Why is it when Dads do Dadish things, it's just so funny and wholesome?" asked u/Yellow_Submarine8891. Some even shared how lucky the daughters are to have dads who love and celebrate funny moments like these with them. "Gotta love dads. They’ll do anything to make life better such as embarrassing their children or just being a chill man at home who cares for everyone and does so much for his family," said u/Alternative-Wish6109. "One of the greatest joys a parent of a teenager can have is embarrassing them in public. My kids are grown, but I still wear black socks with shorts when I go out," added u/ScrotieMcP.
