Parents are the ones who feel happiest when their children become successful in life. They are unable to hide their joy in those moments and want to share it with everyone around them. A father on TikTok had one such moment when his daughter told him she passed the bar exam. In the video posted by @tonystarklovergirl, a woman can be seen telling her father while walking towards him, "Baba, I passed the bar."

She jumps in excitement and runs to hug him. He says, "Really? Congratulations!" and hugs and kisses her. He then asks her, "When did you get the news?" She responds, "I got to know 20 minutes ago." He says, "Oh my God!" and once again hugs and kisses her. The video has an overlay text that reads: "The satisfaction of your siblings making your immigrant parents proud is unmatched."

The video has gained over 319k views and 47k likes. It is captioned, "And on Eid... Can it get any better?" Many on the social media platform were happy for the daughter. "Congrats mama. Can’t wait to make my immigrant parents proud like this," commented @l0vergirl2777. "He’s so proud of his girl!!! This is AMAZINGLY PERFECT!! Congratulations, friend!" expressed @staysee15. "When moving halfway across the world pays off," pointed out @arhamansari228.

"OMGG, so cute!! So happy for you and your family. I found out I got into medical school last Eid! Best Eid gift ever!!" shared @thehanifaprint. @attorneydj commented, "Congrats! Nothing like making our immigrant parents proud!" @americantitli wrote, "Congratulations. So happy for you!! Love your dad's reaction. May you continue to give lots of happy news to your parents." @deenah87 shared, "So happy for you!!!! So happy for him!!!!!! I can imagine how happy and proud he is of you. Immigrant parents deserve the best."

The video was shared last week by Sana Ansari's younger sister Hibah, according to Good Morning America. Ansari said that she was "euphoric" when she got to know that she had passed her bar exam on April 21. It was the same day as Eid, and the happy news was a long time coming as it was her second attempt at the New York state bar examination.

"We were all waiting for my dad to come back because he's been waiting for these results for so long as well. So we knew his reaction would be the best," Ansari said. "He said, 'Really?' and then he said 'qasam se,' which means 'Really?' again in Urdu because he just genuinely was like in shock."

Ansari said that her parents immigrated from Pakistan to the US and have supported her despite her first attempt not being so smooth. "I don't think I would have been able to take it twice without his confidence and encouragement in me because obviously, failing the first time, you question yourself. You're like, 'OK am I really built for this? Should I really take it again?' So if it wasn't for my parent's encouragement, I don't think I would have gotten that far," she said.

She wants to follow in the footsteps of her older sister, who is already a lawyer. She added that passing her bar exam will allow her to practice in New York and other states that are under the universal examination jurisdiction. She wants to go into immigration or corporate compliance.
