Witnessing the birth of a child is not for the faint of heart. Although 32-year-old truck driver Brett Sills is a dad of three now, he never realized what giving birth actually LOOKS like until his youngest child was recently born. Sills’ girlfriend of six years, Amanda Roelofs, revealed that it was the first time Sills “looked down” while she was pushing during labor. “He’s always held a leg, but would just turn away,” she told TODAY. “This time, the doctor had him all involved, and it was great."

Many fathers may not even make it into the delivery room but Sills made it... It's just that his expressions revealed that he couldn't believe what he just witnessed. “I was just looking at her head! It went from being baseball size to a freaking cantaloupe,” Sills shared. Roelofs found the whole thing hilarious after a technician caught Sills’ expressions on camera. "I was skimming through the photos and I started cracking up. I sent them to my sister-in-law and she was like, ‘You need to post these — so they can go viral'.” And that has what has happened.

The couple are parents of Kaleigha, 5, Kameron, 3, and their newest addition to the family, little Brynlee, who was born on July 8. The photos of Sillis quickly did the rounds on the internet. Tenisha ForeverMz Carter commented, "OMG!!! Sir, I know the feeling...I watched my daughter have her baby...didn't think I could do it...but it was definitely an interesting experience by the way...Congratulations." Another user added, "OMG! Congratulations on your beautiful family. And omg his facial expressions. I'm dying. #traumatized!!"

Roelofs insists that her partner is the “best” dad despite being a little “squeamish” when it comes to childbirth.“Some of the comments on the photo are like, ‘My man better not make that face',” she said. “I thought it was hilarious. I wasn’t upset at all.” In fact, she was the one who shared the photos on Facebook and posted them with the caption, “You didn’t see everything I have seen.”

When asked about his reactions to his partner giving birth, the dad replied, “I don’t know. I was just shocked. Watching a baby being born,” reported 21 Alive News. “We didn’t even look at them until I got back into the room, and I was like ‘I have to post these',” his partner added. As for their baby, she's back home and recovering well with the family by her side. “Being in the hospital any amount of time feels like forever,” Roelofs said. “When they told us we could go, we were so excited.” So what's going to happen to those priceless pictures? The new mom plans to have the pictures printed and framed. Now, that's going to be a memorable baby album!
