We often tend to share the most exciting news in our lives with our families first. Especially, when revealing a pregnancy, the mix of shock and happiness as a response makes it a moment to be caught on camera. From happy tears to cheerful squeals, we may have seen several adorable reactions from soon-to-be grandparents. Recently, one such pregnancy reveal video went viral for the most unique and amusing reason. Stephanie Woodward and Ryan Chalmers, who chronicle their pregnancy journey in their TikTok handle WC Triplets (@wctriplets), shared the reaction of Chalmers' parents to the news and it's comedy gold.

In what seemed like a family dinner outing, Woodward surprised her in-laws with an interesting announcement. She and Chalmers were expecting triplets and the in-laws have no idea yet. The mother-in-law was given a card that read, "Time to party!" As she opens it, she instantly gets touched by how the soon-to-be parents shared the baby's ultrasound pictures with her. But that was not all that was inside that card! Seeing her father-in-law still puzzled over what the card was about, Woodward asked them to read the card very closely. That's when the soon-to-be grandparents started reading out loud, "Baby A, baby B, baby C," flipping through the three ultrasound pictures of Woodward and Chalmers' babies.

That's when it hit the older couple that their daughter-in-law was carrying triplets. The mother-in-law was the first to rejoice but the father-in-law had other hilarious doubts. "Wait, where are these things? Are those inside of you?" he asked innocently. The whole family cracked up at how the father-in-law handled the shock of expecting not one but three grandchildren. He was not ready to let the news sink in yet and had to go for another look at the ultrasound pictures. When the reality hit, the father-in-law couldn't hold back his flabbergasted expression clearly showing how nervous yet happy he was.

Not just the father-in-law, but the news of the triplets came as a shock to the soon-to-be parents too. But they took joy in watching Chalmers' parents trying to work it out when they gave them the card. "We knew they'd figure it out eventually, but no one really expects to hear the news of triplets, so we understood why it took a moment for it to sink in. We were just overjoyed to share the surprise and celebrate with them," Woodward told Newsweek. Earlier this August, the couple shared the joyful news of the birth of their triplets - two girls and a boy.

The in-laws' wholesome reaction, especially Chalmers' father's bewilderment at learning about the triplets, left the internet in stitches. People loved the fact that he was concerned, yet happy, for the soon-to-be parents. "Grandpa is equally horrified, confused and amazed and he will be for the rest of those kids' lives," quipped @elizabethstretch. "'Are these inside you? No no, we let them ship. You know, fast delivery," gagged @raccoon_boiii. "His 'Where are these things?' Like you’ve got them stored in a cooler under the table," said @vanilla_buns7. "The way he glitched after reading 'Baby C,'" chimed in @juliaerose_.
