Dad thanks teens for going out of their way to entertain his little son at trampoline park

Though mischievous, some kids possess a certain care and raw love for others that is overwhelming in its own way. A dad on TikTok (@thebeardedbard) shared a wholesome experience he had when his young son had gone to play. The dad mentioned that the little boy was playing on a trampoline by himself when two teenage boys selflessly came up to him and did something so wonderful that the dad couldn’t help but treasure the moment. “If you live in Billings, Montana and your teenage sons were at Get Air yesterday, you should be proud of them,” the dad said in a message for the teens' parents. 

The dad then shared a recording of his son and the two teenagers and said, “The short one in gray, that’s my son, these two boys, I don’t even know how it happened, they just started jumping with him and he just went with it.” The three boys were jumping and playing together, enjoying themselves as if they were friends from long before. The dad mentioned that the boys played together for at least 45 minutes. “They did all the jumping with him, they made sure to catch him if he was going to fall... they had the best time, they were cracking up​ the whole time and helping him bounce higher,” the dad exclaimed.

Looking at his son enjoying raw and unfiltered fun with the bigger boys was heart-melting for the dad. The boys were seen in the video, looking out for the younger chap, ensuring he doesn’t fall or hurt himself just like big brothers would. “At one point, I think they were trying to help him flip. It was amazing!” the dad added. He also mentioned that there was an added reason why he acknowledged the teenagers and was grateful that they spent time with his son. “Those boys did not have to entertain my kid. At all. That’s my job to entertain my kid.” However, the dad was unable to do so since he was watching 6 kids himself.

“And then I turn around to look for him and I see my son jumping with two teenage boys and I think, Oh they’re having fun,” the dad remarked. Sharing a hopeful message, the dad added, “(These are) the kinds of people that we need to be raising more of. Those guys didn’t know my kid from Adam but they were just on top of it. Helping him jump, helping him flip, just having a grand ‘ole time with him.” He also pointed out, “I don’t know why people say teenagers are disrespectful. I think a lot of the time they’re misunderstood. But they definitely can be some of the coolest people on the planet.”

People were overwhelmed by the teenagers’ kindness and selflessness. @hannahlarsson0 said, “This is the only ‘boys will be boys’ I want to see in the world.” @ironhead12895 remarked, “Their parents raised them right. This is one hell of a heartwarming moment.” Among the commenters were the teenagers and their mom who came across the video. @maliarose777 said, “That’s my son! Makes me so proud, thank you! Good job Shikai!” @lul_kai99 wrote, “Thank you, it was a very fun time!”
