Working 55 hours weekly, a devoted dad finds unwavering motivation to keep going because of his daughter.
Having a loving family can be a wonderful source of motivation to keep going even during adverse times in our lives. It reminds people of the reason why they choose to put in all their hard work at their jobs. Levi Herman (@levihookedup_801), a father, recently shared a heartwarming video where he shared with his viewers the reason why he kept going to his intensive job. The absolutely wholesome video has 9.6 million views and 674K likes on the social media site.
Herman begins the video by sharing that he worked a very long 55 hours a week. He talks about how he came home and how his daughter was always there to greet him lovingly every single day. The man says, "My little angel is there waiting for me before I even have a chance to pull into the garage." He tells his viewers that he wants to share the wholesome events that he experiences every day. Herman turns the camera around and begins driving his car towards the house.
While driving, he remarks about how his daughter would show up as soon as she heard the sound of the garage door opening. Sure enough, he pulled into his driveway and waited for the door to open and within a few seconds, his daughter was there, excitedly waiting for him. He almost breaks down, saying, "That's the reason why I don't give up—that I can't give up. Because I have people who love me and care about me."
He turns the car off and opens the door as his daughter eagerly jumps into the car to give him a warm hug. The heartwarming video concludes with the duo saying, "I love you" to each other. People on the platform found the video to be very touching and shared their thoughts in the comments section. @okeybakassi said, "Good fathers don't ask for so much. Just a little show of love, we're motivated to do more." @shteve_burger commented, "All the wealth in the world cannot bring you this level of joy."
It's always best to cherish such small but significant moments in life. Sometime back, a 17-year-old girl decided to give a surprise to her father suffering from Alzheimer's with a tattoo. The clip posted by @isabel.no.uh has gained 18.3 million views on the social media site. The text overlay reads, "Showing my dad the tattoo I got for him after his Alzheimer's diagnosis." Isabel can be seen covering the tattoo, saying, "I got a tattoo and it's actually for you. I designed it a couple of months ago when I was at school."
She shows the tattoo while pointing at the number "52" and saying, "It's your birth year, '52 and it's two waves." She then points towards the waves and explains how the smaller one represented her and the bigger one was him. Isabel reveals the profound reason for the wave design, saying, "It's because we went sailing and you taught me how to sail. It's my favorite memory with you. It's on my arm because it'll never fade and you'll always remember it every day you see me. It will always remind you of us, when you were born and the memories you made with me." The father and daughter embrace as the video ends.
