Despite the evident changes in her appearance and personality, something remained constant, and that is Daisy's bond with her daddy-dearest.

A doting father started a heartfelt tradition on his daughter's birthday and continued it until she turned 18. We're talking about Davey Orgill (@daveyorgill) and his daughter, Daisy. On March 13, he posted a video compilation of all her birthdays starting at age 4, showing her transition from a little girl to a teenager. So far, the video has been viewed 2.8 million times on Orgill's Instagram page, where viewers are staring in disbelief as time zooms past the kid.
Orgill began the birthday tradition when Daisy, his daughter, was only four and continued it year after year until she turned 18. Every year, he asked her a few questions and recorded her response as a memory of Daisy's childhood. Interestingly, her responses changed as she grew older.
For instance, she became more confident and developed a soft side for hair and makeup, like most girls. Despite the evident changes in her appearance and personality, something remained constant, and that is Daisy's bond with her daddy-dearest. "How many boys have you kissed?" Orgill asked on her eleventh birthday. Daisy replied, "One... you."

By Daisy's 13th birthday, her voice had completely changed, and she also looked very different, but deep down, she was still a little girl who loved her father to death. "I want to do hair and makeup for a movie production," Daisy opened up about her career ambition on her 14th birthday.
By her 15th birthday, she had her driver’s license and looked thrilled to explore different places. "I love you, and happy birthday," Orgill recorded himself wishing his daughter on her 18th birthday, and the beautiful video ended there, leaving netizens, especially parents, emotional. Orgill's video shows how fast time flies, and we don't have much time before our kids outgrow the little moments we often take for granted.

On a related note, a Pew Research Center survey found that while 59% of parents feel they spend the right amount of time with their kids, 36% feel they spend "too little" time with them. Now, they also observed that mothers are more likely than fathers to say that they spend the right amount of time with their kids (66% vs 50%). "Roughly half of dads (48%) say they spend too little time with their kids, compared with 25% of moms," the study noted.
A recently viral social media trend called "Last Time Theory" also reminded parents of the limited moments they have with their kids before they outgrow their laps. As kids grow older, there comes a moment when parents stop picking them up — often without realizing it’s the last time. So, now, many parents are intentionally picking up their kids again to cherish and remember those precious moments forever.

Meanwhile, reacting to the beautiful transition, @beeuty_body commented, "When her voice changed, I lost it like she was my own." Similarly, @quadruplethekisses wrote, "Her voice change from 11 to 12 was a gut punch for me! My girls are 11! This is it for their cute little girl voices."
@chronically_erika said, "This is precious. It's crazy how fast time truly goes. They don’t kid when they say, 'Don't blink.' Happy birthday, Daisy." @therealkaybrooks wrote, "To have a parent there for every single birthday has to feel amazing. I feel like my birthdays didn’t mean anything to anybody, but it’s ok; that’s why I splurge on myself for my birthday the way that I do."
