Dad plans the perfect pickup for daughter on last day of highschool leaving everyone in tears

The end of something is always the beginning of another milestone. Finishing school is always a major milestone in everyone's lives and needs to be celebrated. A dad named Jev marked the end of his daughter’s high school and the beginning of her future in a wholesome way. The man who has been recording precious and unique daddy-daughter pickups for over 2 years, captured his last pickup that moved everyone to tears. The gentleman planned a pickup that was meant to feel like a celebration. He did that with a touch of humor, however, it evoked tears of joy from his daughter, creating one of the most invaluable core memories.

The dad was dressed in semi-formals, dawning shorts, a shirt, a tie and a cap. His outfit resembled his idea of marking a light-hearted and delightful pickup for his little girl. Blasting the song “End of the Road” by Boyz II Men over speakers, the dad parked and got out of the car, screaming the lyrics of the song to the top of his lungs. In his hand, the dad had a vibrant bouquet, a balloon and a box of chocolates. With a pleasant spirit, he sang his way to his little girl who burst into tears, knowing it was her last pickup. The dad adorably embraced her and tried to comfort her but she couldn’t keep herself from crying and being emotional.

The dad continued singing as the duo walked back to the car. “This was my daughter's last day of school so I had to make it a special pickup,” he said. “I didn’t know it would get this emotional, I had to keep singing so I wouldn’t start to cry." The dad continued to hug and comfort his inconsolable girl. “Oh don’t make me cry,” he said, trying his best to cheer his daughter up. Moving towards the car, the dad tried to lighten the mood by encouraging and applauding his daughter for finishing high school. He also boosted her with enthusiasm for what she had ahead of her in life.

He yelled to the rest of the students, “Congratulations. Next week you guys are out!” Seeing a smile on his daughter’s face, the dad continued, “Class of 2024! Yes!” While cheering the rest of the students, the dad ensured that he fulfilled the duty he came for. He ensured that he opened and closed the door for his little girl and even continued the song with immense feeling. People were mesmerized by the dad’s commitment and efforts and applauded him for the journey he'd experienced over the years. Fellow parents understood the sentiment flowing through his loving gesture.
