Dad is mortified as his swimming trunks dissolve in the pool thanks to his wife's hilarious prank

There's nothing quite like taking a relaxing dip in the swimming pool. For a dad from Fort Wayne, Indiana, what should have been a relaxing day, turned into an embarrassment as his swimming trunks dissolved in the swimming pool. Yes, you heard that right. His trunks dissolved in the water leaving him naked in the pool and unable to come out with his kids in the vicinity. Little did he know that he was being pranked by his wife, who had bought him dissolvable swimming trunks. She posted the video on TikTok where it has gone viral. The video was posted on @mr_mrs_wash's account and has been liked more than 4 million times with 32k people leaving hilarious comments on it. The caption of the video reads: "When your husband doesn't know you got him dissolvable swimming trunks." She had the song Into the Thick of it! by The Backyardigans play in the background and it's perfect.

The video starts with 'Mr. Wash' casually walking up to the pool wearing a pair of dark blue shorts. Mrs. Wash appears to be sitting beside the pool waiting to watch her evil plan unfold. "How the water feel?" asks Mrs. Wash. She then nudges him to take a dip. "Go ahead," she encourages him. He wades into the pool, taking a few splashes as Mrs. Wash keeps chuckling to herself, aware of what was happening. In less than 15 seconds, his trunk starts to dissolve. He panics, but still doesn't realize what's happening and assumes his shorts has torn. "It's split," he tells his wife, panicking from the pool. She laughs as she walks up to him and enquires about him, filming the whole time. 

He is full-on panicking at this moment, covering his nether regions with his palms as his trunks faded away in real-time. He asks his wife for help as she starts laughing uncontrollably. He keeps looking around telling her there are kids around. He can be seen stealing glances to ensure there are no kids around. "Get out the water," she tells him, unable to hold in her laughter. He then made a calculated dash for the house door with his a$$ hanging out. She censored the video towards the end but you could still see that all that was left of his shorts was his drawstring that clung around his waist. She had a good laugh about it.

TikTok users certainly enjoyed the prank and are now hoping to see Mr. Wash get back at his wife. One user wrote, "I love how he couldn't think of nothing but being respectful to kids, but this was funny as hell." Another lauded Mrs. Wash, writing, " This is how you prank, in the comfort of your own backyard, and NOT at a public place." Another joked that the dissolvable trunks were the greatest invention ever. Some had only just found out that dissolvable shorts existed and many said they couldn't wait to order a pair and prank their partners. One woman wrote, "I can't believe these exist. I want them so badly for my husband."
