Dad has wholesome reaction after son makes him a shirt at sewing class

Thoughtful gifts from kids mean so much to parents. Similarly, in a heart-warming video posted on TikTok by @daddyfiles, his son Sam can be seen gifting a shirt to his dad. He says, "I got a shirt that I made at a sewing class." Aaron asks, "You made that for me? Yes." He explains, "I did the buttons and I did the button holes." 

Talking about the design on the shirt, the dad says, "Got like a 70s lapel thing going on. How did you make this?" Sam responds, "Well I got help but I did most of it by myself." Aaron then asks him if he can try it on and his son says yes. "Look at this, the collar is so unique it's like there's the collar and that's awesome," says Aaron in the video. 

Pointing at the back pleat in the shirt, Sam says, "I had this little thing in the back, I don't know what it's called. But I made it myself and it was hard because I just so over a bunch of fabric but I got stuck a couple of times."

When his dad asks why he selected this design for him, he says, "I chose this pattern because it just looks cool to me. It stands out to me. And it goes with jeans like you usually wear." The video concludes with Aaron asking if he can wear this shirt to dinner and Sam agrees. "Thank you, buddy, you're so talented," says the father. This adorable video soon went viral with more than 11 million views. It is captioned, "Sam made me a shirt! Wow."

The same video was posted on Reddit by u/PicklesAnonymous. It is captioned, "Son sewed a shirt for his Dad." It has about 161k upvotes. People on the platform just loved the shirt that Sam sewed. u/Walter_Stonkite wrote, "The smile on the kid’s face when it pans back to him." u/RegularBitter3482 commented, "Okay, This is AWESOME!!
