Parents are always a great source of support and comfort for kids but sometimes kids themselves lend a shoulder to support their adult parents.  The words kids use or the gestures they do no matter how small have a lasting impact on the parents. It could be just a hug or a small note they give to their parents, but they mean a lot to them.

Similarly, a dad u/stefanfection on Reddit shared a beautiful gesture his daughter did for him while he was going through a divorce. He posted a picture of the note his child wrote for him. "Hey Dad, I know you are going through a hard time right now and I just want you to know that I will be here for you forever and always. I hope you become happy again because I would love to do a ton of fun things with you in the *summer.* I love you tons and just remember that..." She also drew a heart and colored it with these words inside, "I will always be here for you."
