Dad gives hilariously savage explanation for why he calls his daughter by her siblings' names

Parents adore all their kids and make sure to be there for them no matter what. So, it is normal for people to assume that they would remember each of their names. However, that's not the case with this dad. In a hilarious video posted on TikTok by @thehermidas, a daughter can be heard questioning her father why he always takes her name last when she is the firstborn and his response will leave anyone in splits.

The video starts with the overlay text, "When you can't remember your kids' names." The dad can be seen keeping his hand on his head and saying, "Oh my." The daughter responds, "Yes, you have. I have footage of you." The exasperated dad then jokingly tries to guess her name, saying: "Haley? Daisy? Denisse?" His daughter pretends to get offended and says, "Dad, why do you always say my name last? I am your firstborn. Do you know I should be first?"

The dad replies, "I go... I go by my memory. You're fading away," and starts laughing. "Oh my god, you're so mean!" the girl reacts. He adds, "Haley, Daisy, oh I also have a Denisse!" The daughter repeats, "You're so mean," even as her father laughs out loud.

The video has garnered about 1.5 million views and 199k likes. People on the social media platform found the dad's response extremely funny. @louisrios84 commented, "Fading away like that family photo in 'Back to the Future.'" @chiboy4real wrote, "OMG 'I go by memory you are fading away' that got me." @drickiminaj shared, "LMAOOOOOOOO people with multiple kids say all their kids' names until they get the right name." @mcfaddie said, "Take it as a compliment. Though dads can be savage jokesters at times, their relationship with their daughters always remain special. In a sweet video, a dad can be seen pretending to use a razor on his young daughter's hair. He does this because her brothers had a haircut and his daughter insisted on getting one too. Her hair is beautifully braided with different color clips on the back. The dad just runs the razor from the front side of her hair, near her ear, and then in the middle of her hair so that she believes he is actually cutting it. To make sure that her hair doesn't get shaved, he is using the razor from the opposite end. Moreover, he even pretends to remove the extra hair from places he is using the razor.
