The internet collectively decided that if he wanted to be sassy, they would show him sass.

The internet trolls never stop, and they’re constantly on the lookout for vulnerable people to put down for ridiculously unnecessary reasons. The best way to battle such ruthlessness is not to allow their intent to turn successful. A man who goes by @haiiro_sxt on Instagram Threads shared a post of a DoorDash employee. The man was just doing his job, but the user decided to be disrespectful and troll the man for his clothing and appearance. It’s satisfying to say that the internet did not side with him. Not only did they ridicule his intent, but they also dug the trenches of the internet to use his comment against him, ironically, and the roast keeps getting better.

The man shared a picture of the back of a DoorDash employee, holding a bag and heading for the exit. The worker was dressed in red and black checkered pajamas and a t-shirt. He seemed to be on the healthier side and was dressed comfortably. The customer took his picture, shared it online, and wrote, “If your [sic] going to work at DoorDash, please don’t dress like this if your [sic] going to bring me my food.” The man likely expected the internet to join in bullying the employee and find temporary joy at the expense of another. However, they had the worker’s back. With over 4,000 comments, people showed their support in unhinged and hilarious ways.

@jowyswoll took the straightforward approach and wrote, “Then go pick up the damn food yourself. Imagine hating on someone for dressing comfy to drive around for hours in their car to bring people food, most of whom are home in comfy clothes themselves. DoorDash should kick your ass off their app for being a bully and doing their driver like this, and not knowing how to spell ‘your.’”
@queenbailyrose went one step ahead and ingeniously pulled out the irony card. She did her research, went through the man’s account, and pulled out one of his older threads. In it, he himself was spotted at a supermarket with a baby in a stroller, wearing similar checkered pajamas and a t-shirt. “I’m weak. Isn’t this you? In nearly identical pants?” she wrote.
@sabrina_n4023 also did some digging and shared, “I understand why you had to post a birthday invitation to threads and not even get a like on it. You seem like a nightmare to be around.”
@mrmelothaking added, “He want me to walk to his house in a suit and tie to drop off his McDonald’s happy meal.” Data from Statista revealed that out of all online trolling people noticed or experienced, social media trolling was at the highest rate. The report revealed that 38% of people saw some kind of trolling on social media every single day. The best response is not to react and give attention to such thoughtless and cruel posts. But in this case, people didn’t hold back.
They had the employee’s back like no other, and the man should have known that his own careless remark would backfire on him. Right from his clothes, words, and nature, nothing was left out by the internet's keepers. It’s almost as if the internet collectively decided that if he wanted to be sassy, they would show him sass. @johnathanapex wrote, “As a dasher, I almost never see other dashers use insulated bags, so this person is already a top 1% dasher.” @stephanie.in.the.desert remarked, "I hope your order was wrong and the food was cold. Don’t be such an entitled walnut."
