Customer returns to grocery store to thank kind worker who helped him in his 'darkest hour'

When you find yourself in the middle of an emergency, a bit of help and assistance can make all the difference. After all, love and kindness can always ease a plight, if not mend it. A kind worker did just that when a customer experienced a medical incident in the middle of a grocery store. The TikTok content creator who goes by @bigdairy shared his frightening experience at the local grocery store on the platform and expressed his gratitude to the worker.

In the video, he was seen waiting outside the grocery store, preparing a bouquet to give to the worker. "Two days ago, I fainted at the checkout of the grocery store, and today I’m taking flowers to the cashier who helped me because I had never passed out in public before, and what a scary experience it was," he said. "This woman killed it. She comforted me in my darkest hours," he added. The video then shows the man going inside the store and giving the bouquet to the worker. "These are for you," he said to the woman. "Um, Monday, I passed out in here and you, like, saved me." 

"Oh, well, thank you," the cashier responded gleefully. The man then smiles and tells her how it was a "scary moment" for him and how he appreciated her help and was grateful. "So I just wanted to bring you some flowers. I really appreciate it. I hope you have a good rest of your day," he added. 

Many took to the comment section to praise his actions, "That is so kind! I literally worked at a grocery store and gave compressions to a customer and the wife yelled at me," wrote @Laurenaa2023. "Never stop being kind like this, what a guy! Glad you’re okay," added @jessicabachman4.

Needless to say, the heartwarming video went viral on TikTok. "Faith in humanity restored," the post caption reads. People in the comment section were moved by how the woman helped the man. "Made me cry, my father suffers from Parkinson’s disease too, and watching him struggle every day breaks my heart. Ya Allah pray for my father please!" wrote @strangermariii678. "Love this but always remember to ask a person if they want/need your help before stepping into their personal space etc," remarked @user8934988761994. Another comment talked about how quiet the whole action was. "What's beautiful, is she did this without a fuss, without looking for attention or taking a selfie. She just helped," noted @CJ 2021285.
