Courtney's hair starts tamed and sleek but it transforms as soon as she steps out.
Remember when Monica Geller's hair got hilariously frizzy in that "Friends" episode set in the Caribbean? Courteney Cox recently had a similar experience in Miami. In a clip she posted on Instagram on May 22, Cox starts inside her hotel room with perfectly tamed hair, saying, "I'm in Miami." But the moment she steps outside, her hair transforms, becoming puffed up, voluminous, and curly.
Cox lip-syncs the iconic "It's the humidity!" line from Season 9, Episode 23, "The One in Barbados Part 1," where Monica's hair goes wild in the Caribbean, much to her friends' amusement. Frustrated, she finally exclaims, “It’s the humidity!”
The video garnered about 8.5 million views on the social media platform and is captioned, “It’s the humidity!” People made comments related to the show. @its.me.erine commented, “That's fixable, just put some sea shell on it, and you'll look gorgeous. Just watch out for the shower curtains though.” @carlacataopsicologa wrote, “Diana Ross is back!” @multiedit.er shared, “’ That’s not true. I came with Monica, I’m leaving with weird al.’ – Chandler Bing.” @jamieonealofficial said, “I feel so bad for those who haven’t seen where this came from.” @50bungalowtonow commented, “We're in Fiji right now and just said my hair is like Monica's in Barbados.”

This is not the first time that Cox has made fun of her previous characters' hairstyles. In January, she posted a video in which a man was wearing a grey sweatshirt with a photo of her. It had a picture of Cox's "Scream 3" character Gale Weathers in which she had baby bangs. He asks her what's going on and she responds, "Construction." She then notices the picture and says, "What is that? Don't wear that sweatshirt. That bang? Come on! That's ridiculous. It's embarrassing."
She then walks inside and asks the group, "Almost done?" They all turn around, revealing they’re wearing the same grey sweatshirt, each with a different photo of Cox from various roles, including Monica Geller's iconic hairdo.

Last year, the 59-year-old actor recreated another iconic scene from "Friends." It was the one in which Cox dances with a turkey on her head to make Mathew Perry's character laugh in the scene. She captioned it, "Flashback to 3 years ago...Probably won't do it again. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!"
She starts the video by saying, "Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I hope you're having a great day. I'm feeling so thankful and also, if I get one more [bleep] GIF with a turkey on my head, dancing like a [bleep] fool, I'm just going to snap! So, anyway, since I'm the symbol of Thanksgiving, here you go. Hope it makes you happy." She then does the same step from the show with a Turkey on her head while the song, "I'll Be There for You" plays in the background.
