Couple saves a stranded raccoon from the pool and reunites him with his family: 'The chosen one'

A compassionate couple melted the hearts of many when they sprang into action to rescue a baby raccoon that had accidentally fallen into a pool. A TikTok video capturing the heroic moment quickly went viral, showcasing the couple's timely intervention. Being present at home, they were able to swiftly retrieve the distressed raccoon from the water. The raccoon was scared at first and was crying loudly and looked helpless. However, he was soothed when he noticed that he was being rescued.

Sebastian Arias was walking down the street in La Victoia in Lima, Peru when he saw that a recycling plant had caught fire. The flames from the plant had also spread to a neighboring house, which was a dog shelter. Although people had managed to free some of the animals, many were still trapped inside and were out of reach due to the smoke and fire.

Thinking about his own dog, Arias went ahead and saved the remaining animals trapped inside. He climbed the facade, broke the windows and helped rescue the pups from the fire. The good Samaritan ignored all obstacles as he swiftly got up to the top of the building, grabbed the dog and dropped the canine onto the mattress other bystanders held below.
