Chris Hemsworth sure has a sense of humor. When a fan posted on Twitter that he looked like Chris Hemsworth, the actor's response totally made his day. A Twitter user @nothingbutlag posted a picture of himself and Hemsworth and then he wrote, "A bunch of girls told me I look just like Chris Hemsworth haha. do you agree?" After a couple of days, Hemsworth responded to the post saying, "This guy thought he'd trick us all by posting himself twice…" The response gained over 40 million views and more than 32.4k likes.

Many on the platform found Hemsworth's reply hilarious. @CastileanBlood commented, "I don't see the resemblance at all, despite my glasses being off too." @toushiee commented, "The spot the difference games are getting harder." @DavoMc82 commented, "A bunch of guys in the pub started calling me Thor, I was delighted l, then I realized they probably meant the fat version from Endgame, still a W but a smaller one." @Keven77R commented, "Oh Wow. Identical Justin! but You should taken-off your shirt." @I_amsaini commented, "Bro u maybe look like Chris but seriously u should have chosen another pic not his one."

Even though the fan, in this case, looked quite different than Hemsworth. There have been doppelgangers of many actors. Dwayne Johnson has his doppelganger in the form of Lt. Eric Fields from Morgan County, Alabama and Emma Watson also has a doppelganger who cosplays Hermoine Granger at conventions, according to CINEMA BLEND

Hemsworth's upcoming projects include "Furiosa" which is a MadMax spinoff. He will be taking on the role of a returning character of the series - a younger version of Immortan Joe. The other film he is working on is Netflix's "Extraction."

Moreover, the actor has said that if he ever returns as Thor, it will be his last run because he feels that the character eventually needs to make an exit. Hemsworth will be next seen as Tyler Rake in Extraction 2, released on June 16, 2023, on Netflix.

The actor was also part of a six-part National Geographic documentary, which not only physically straining but also challenged his mind and body. Talking about the experience on the show, he said that it was "more superficial. I always felt better, but doing a deep dive into the science-backed evidence of why I felt better was a completely new experience." In the series, Hemsworth undertakes complicated stunts, swims and surfs in a fjord's 36-degree water, and plays underwater hockey during a four-day fast to understand the benefits of fasting.

There is a moment in the show where Peter Attia, a preventative care physician, tells Hemsworth, then 37, that blood tests reveal he has 10 times the average risk of developing Alzheimer's disease because of genetic traits. Daily exercise, good sleep and stress reduction might help lower that vulnerability, Attia added. "It was initially pretty scary," Hemsworth said. "But now, because of this information, there's an opportunity to live an even better life."

The show's concept came from a 2006 movie that producers Darren Aronofsky and Ari Handel had written: "The Fountain." It was about a man searching for everlasting youth. Aronofsky believes that the concept will be relatable to the audience due to an aging population and high-tech companies "trying to beat death and reaching for immortality in a lot of different ways."
