Many philosophers around the world have tried to find the meaning of love. However, love might mean something different to each person and have an altogether new standing in their lives altogether. Many of us might don't even realize how vastly different people's beliefs about love can be. A group of children gave their perspectives on love in a 2005 interview taken on a reality show, Wonder Showzen. Each one of them had an interesting and unique perspective on "What is love?" as per a video on YouTube.

As the clip began, the question, "What is love?" is asked. The first kid said, "Love is something that happens in a long time." While another girl believed that love is an "emotional minefield." Yet another girl felt that it was "Something special between her dog's butt and the carpet." A boy remarked that it was a "sissy excuse." A girl told the people to "Ask her soulmate." While a little boy shared, "My dad needs spells for love." Another girl pointed out, "A neurochemical con job." While a little girl insightfully observed that it was, "A new product." The last boy answered, "Who cares, I am going to Cabo. Oh, I hate myself, I hate myself, I hate myself."

A woman who goes by @velvetcoke on Instagram reposted the video and asked people through the caption, "Which one are you? 'What is love? Wonder Showzen, 2005.'" Many people took to the comments section to respond to her question. A person, @berkmoral, revealed that the girl who said, "Ask my soulmate," was "My future daughter. We’ll have so much laughter as well, obviously." @gatos.r.awesome commented, "I’m definitely a 'Who cares I’m going to Cabo, woohoo I hate myself(x3).'" @preachypeech remarked, "God, it’s 2023 and there’s not a more real answer than - a new product." @paperalwayswins shared, "I would like to see videos of them at the age they are now with their new answer."

In another similar story, a man and a woman went on a prank date set up by their friends and actually ended up falling in love with each other. "My friends have been pushing me to go out more, insisting that I need a break from the grind. A few weeks ago, they set me up on a blind date. They wouldn't stop talking about how 'perfect' this girl was for me, so I thought, why not?" the man, who goes by u/ResidentThrowRA on Reddit, shared. "She had this amazing smile and the way she laughed just made me want to keep the conversation going," the man revealed about his date. He hadn't realized that it was all a setup.

"It felt like we didn't have to pretend much and that made the whole evening feel easy. We just clicked," the person said. The couple had many interesting and common things to talk about. The pair exchanged numbers and started talking regularly. "A few days later, though, I got a really sad message from Emily. Turns out, my friends told her that they set us up as a prank. They set me up with her because they thought she wasn't 'my type' and that they picked her specifically because she's chubby and not what they'd call 'conventionally attractive,' thinking it would be funny to see how I'd react," the man expressed. "Now, my friends are pissed at me. They're saying I ruined the joke and that I'm being 'weird' for asking her out again." People in the comments supported the man.
