When he first called for the chef, she looked nervous but she was left crying from happiness.

Simon Squibb (@simonsquibb), an entrepreneur from London, UK, was at a restaurant eating pasta when he suddenly felt the urge to meet the chef. The food was so yummy that he personally wanted to thank the person who made it. Navseerat, the chef, was overwhelmed by his gesture and slowly opened up about her dream. She told him that she really wanted to open her own café. Navseerat also informed him that the owner was about to sell the place. Squibb realized it was a fantastic opportunity to help Navseerat make her dream come true. He shared the entire journey on his Instagram profile.
When Squibb first called for the chef, Navseerat looked nervous; she assumed he didn't like her food. But then the man praised her, saying it was the best pasta he ever had. "You are so talented," Squibb added. Impressed by Navseerat, he asked her about her dream, and she told him about wanting to open her own restaurant. She said if it ever comes true, she would call in Pink Broccoli. Squibb then asked why she wasn't already working towards her dream. And to this, the chef replied, she didn't have the funds to open her own place. The businessman, known for helping people fulfil their dreams, insisted on supporting Navseerat, who was on cloud 9, hearing it. She informed him that the restaurant owner was about to sell the place, and they could use the opportunity to buy it from her. Soon, Squibb met Nancy, the owner, who straight away rejected monthly payments in exchange for the restaurant. She said they started the restaurant during Covid and were struggling to clear debts. The man somehow convinced Nancy, and she agreed to let Navseerat take over the restaurant if Squibb paid her $25,000
Unaware, the chef had almost given up on her dream, but that's when Squibb surprised her with the good news. He presented her with a new logo for her restaurant, and Navseerat couldn't hold back her tears.
Squibb realized the chef's true potential and believed that she could totally run her own café. The man who owned three restaurants had a fair knowledge of the food industry. He knew that chefs, more than the owners, decide the fate of a restaurant. Research published in Science Direct also emphasized a very similar idea. After reviewing 111 studies, they found 117 factors that are directly proportional to customer satisfaction and restaurant choice. Then, they grouped them into four big categories: atmosphere, food, service, price & value. Among all these, food was the biggest and most important factor for customers. "The 'food' category is the most important factor in consumer choice and experience. However, the importance of this category may vary depending on the situation (e.g., lunch, dinner, weekends, weekdays) and should be carefully considered, as all categories were relevant but intricate," the research mentioned.

Meanwhile, netizens were in awe of Squibb; they couldn't stop themselves from praising the man for helping the lady achieve her dreams. For instance, @_thespeechheroes commented, "Touches the soul. Thank you, Simon, for helping this lady with her dream. You're such a great example of Selfless Service, Kindness, and Compassion. Keep it up!" @impact_with_lwa wrote, "This is so amazing. Simon, you’re an amazing human for helping her make her dream come alive." Similarly, @tikitatau commented, "It is absolutely amazing! Seriously, seeing someone do these kinds of things for strangers and trying to uplift others is truly inspiring."
