The stiff person syndrome is a rare condition wherein the muscles of several body parts suffer from rigidity or spasms, according to Yale Medicine. It makes basic activities difficult to do and the uncontrollable spasms add much of a challenge to daily life. Amid the struggles and treatment, Celine Dion appeared at the Grammys after being out of the public eye for quite some time. The singer gladly agreed to present the award for the final category of the event, “Best Album of the Year.” As the singer stepped in on stage to present the award, the entire audience stood up and applauded her for her bold decision to be present. As an honor to the iconic singer for her melodious and heavenly music, which has given decades, singers and other celebrities stood up in unison.
Celine Dion was filled with emotions before she could bring herself together and speak to her people. The beauty behind “My Heart Will Go On” shared a moment of tearful joy at the love and honor she received from thousands of artists present at the Grammys. The singer shared a short speech on account of the tremendous support she received from the people. “Thank you all, I love you right back.” She paused to relay her next message as effectively as possible and said, “When I say I’m happy to be here, I mean it from my heart.” She then mentioned how much music meant to her and what a vivid and vibrant gift it was to the world.
