Little sister teaches brother an important lesson on household chores and their exchange is adorable

Recently, they went on a trip where their daughter, Jette, noted that her elder brother Nimo was playing rather than folding his clothes. She immediately told him that this was wrong and disrespectful to the staff. The daughter said, "Nimo, after you take off your pyjama, you have to fold it." The boy was having none of it, as he just wanted to fool around and relax. He immediately retorted with a "no."

Jette did not lose her patience with Nimo and explained to him why it was important for him to fold his clothes. She said, "Cause if you don't fold it, the cleaner will have to fold it." The daughter tries to make him understand that cleaners already have a lot on their plate with the rooms. Anything that individuals can do on their own, they must do to make the whole process easier for the staff. Therefore, she told her brother, "You don't want to give them too much work." This is not humane to do to people who serve them day in and day out.

The boy, being his naughty self, continued his nonchalant attitude, pretending to not hear his sister. Jette again pushed him by asking, "Nimo, did you hear what I said?" He clearly answered to her, "Well, I don't want to fold it." Seeing his sister's expressions definitely changed something in him as he instantly changed his stance. He said, "In a minute, after I play with my toys." But Jette asked him to be quick, as the cleaners would come at any second. Thereafter, the boy started making excuses that his hands were very 'lazy' and asked for Jette's help since she was done folding hers.

This did not sit well with Jette. At first, she asked, "Do you have hands, Nimo?" After getting an affirmative answer, she continued, "Do you know what's the use of that?" The boy again replied, "Yes." This then probed Jette to say, "Then use them and fold your own." The thrashing did wonders and Nimo finally got his clothes in order and folded them. Jette ended sweetly with, "I am so proud of you."
