Two TikTok content creators, Charly Anne (@charlyannec) and Ieuan Jones (@ieuanjoness), along with their friends Emily, Cory, and Lea, have taken the internet by storm with their hilarious documentation of their first trip to New York City. The group flew in from the UK, and their wide-eyed reactions to everyday American experiences have captivated viewers. Their first stop? A quintessentially American shopping experience: Target.

The videos show the group hitting New York’s tourist hotspots and indulging in the city’s iconic food chains. In one clip, which has racked up 2.3 million views, Anne shares how they had already "broke their bank" shopping at TJ Maxx. When planning their next move, Anne turns to Jones, asking, "What’s next?" The answer? Target. With palpable excitement, Anne proclaims, “I’m going to shop till I drop,” while another voice chimes in, “This is what I’m most excited about—the snacks.” Their relatable enthusiasm for simple joys has endeared them to American audiences, proving that even the ordinary can feel extraordinary through fresh eyes.

As the video continues, the first-timers are awestruck by Target’s variety of food items, like mini Doritos, Cheetos Puffs, Hershey's Kisses and jumbo-sized Twizzlers. They grab everything they've either seen or heard of, yelling and crying in excitement like kids in a candy store—pun intended. Meanwhile, one of them squeals, "Guys, look at this pink Starbucks drink!"

Watching them, Americans couldn't contain their excitement. For instance, @whuuuuut gushed, "I'm so fascinated by their fascination!" @cookiefleck echoed, "This is so pure." @sarah added, "I'm so here for all this content in my favorite place!" @lizzie seemed impressed by the way they spoke, "I'm obsessed with your accent."

Meanwhile, @katieb commented, "I love watching people shop when they visit the US and are genuinely excited rather than criticizing everything. So cute, have fun!!" @natalielarson admitted that she's binge-watching their videos, "This is my favorite series right now." @themanyfacesoftonya spoke for every American, "I can't get enough of y'all!"

Though they visited other places afterward, it was Jones’s video that came close to the first one, with 900,000 views. This time, they went to the Mexican food chain Chipotle, and Jones says in the video, "I have never been to Chipotle, I have never heard of Chipotle." The group was excited to get their orders, and at one point in the video, Jones refers to guacamole as "smashed avocado," sending Americans into a frenzy.

@zwelithinixaba quipped, "Guac being called 'smashed avo' would send me to an early grave." @bettina_windy joked, "I actually love it. Imma call it smashed avo from now on." Another follower, @bobbykirwin, suggested, "You guys need a TV show asap, please." @jennatee said what every American had been thinking about them, "I'm obsessed with y'all."

However, the fun ended when Anne posted the last video of the series, signaling that they were about to leave the US. Followers, who had been hooked on their content and enjoying every moment, were heartbroken. Some even pleaded for them to continue the series, like @melissa, who requested, "Obsessed with this series, please extend your trip indefinitely." @dream_wrld echoed, "Nooo, we want more."
