Bride's step-son has the most precious reaction to seeing her in a wedding dress for the first time

Weddings have the potential to fill people with emotion. The moment six-year-old Marcus saw his stepmom Jessica Cromartie in her wedding gown falls into that category, without a doubt. As the Instagram and TikTok influencer @heygorjess decided to give her bonus son-to-be the honor of getting the first look, the boy was stunned looking at his new mom. The touching clip showing their interaction received 1.8 million views. 

In the video's caption, Cromartie wrote "This moment was soo precious! I'm so happy that I get to be his bonus mom." As Marcus turns around and sees Cromartie in a lovely white dress, he remains awe-struck and even bends down in disbelief. They embrace each other in a warm hug as Cromartie kneels down. They smile at each other as they hold hands, though Marcus seems too overjoyed and shy to look at her straight. The bond they share appears to be special and only seems to be getting stronger. 

People in the comments loved Marcus's adorable reaction. "Aweee! He wanted to cry I think and that dress is wow. You look so beautiful," commented @jocelynmunoz.1. "He was blushing so hard," observed @crownmorgan. "You can tell she loves that baby and he feels it... this made my heart too happy," wrote @goodlucksjorie. "As a bonus mom, I love this. Another video clip showing a young son reacting preciously to his mother's wedding look tells us how special these bonds are. Eleven-year-old Mekhi Sheffield played an important role in his mother Sommer Jean's wedding. He accompanied his grandmother down the aisle. Prior to that, he was seen tearing up as he witnessed his mother's first look. "Wow, Mom, you look really pretty," he compliments her. The mother then says, "You ready to walk me down the aisle? Do you think you can do it? Are you going to cry?" As the child nods, he becomes filled with emotion and begins to cry. Jean says, "I love you" as the boy goes in to hug his mother. She asks, "Are they happy tears?" and Mekhi replies, "I'm so happy for you."

Mekhi, according to Jean, doesn't usually cry in public, but he was overcome with emotion because he had never seen his mother look so beautiful in a wedding dress before. Viewers were left teary-eyed. "When he said 'I’m so happy for you' I broke down," commented @fatrecia_. "Me trying to jump in the screen to hug him. Got me crying," wrote @girltoni210. "Aww my bonus sons cried at our wedding too and it made me so happy!" added @annafinks0923. Moments like these make weddings special.
