Bride's father gives tear-jerking speech while giving her away to the groom: 'My precious daughter'

A wedding is a memorable day for most people but for a daughter's father, it is a truly special day. Walking your daughter down the aisle can be an extremely emotional moment but this father handled it with grace and love. He gave a speech that brought tears to everyone's eyes and was loved by 4.5 million people online. TikTok user Kylie posted a video of her dear dad's heartfelt speech on TikTok on Father's Day to celebrate her amazing father. She captioned the video, “My dad made me cry at my wedding.” After walking her to the aisle and placing her hand in the groom's palm, the father gave a moving 2-minute speech.

He said, “I’m passing my precious daughter to you. Put her in first place in every situation." Adding that he would pray for the couple's marriage, he wished them a happy and healthy marriage, where everything they planned would work out. But, then came a moment that brought tears to everyone's eyes. The father said to the groom, “If one day you ever have a change of heart that you don’t love my daughter anymore, please don’t hurt her, just bring her back to me and give her back to me.” This left everyone including the bride and groom in tears. The groom said that he would never stop loving Kylie and that he would never hurt her.

As for Kylie's father, he expresses his never-ending love for his daughter and that he is always there to support her, even if her husband stops loving her. These are the most comforting lines to hear from a parent, that one will always be supported and loved, irrespective of the circumstances.
