The same happened to a woman while the love of her life was proposing to her. The soon-to-be bride, Angelina Camacho—who goes by @angelxo.25 on TikTok—couldn't bear her boyfriend Joshua Towell’s eyewear, so she tossed them off in the quirkiest way possible, creating a truly special yet hilarious sight.

A widely circulating video showed Angelina’s candid reaction to her partner wearing giant dark shades in the middle of their proposal. Annoyed by her own reflection in the polarized glasses, the resident of Weston, Florida, later claimed it was the “most uncontrollable” reaction of her life.

“I just started ugly crying. It was the most uncontrollable reaction I’ve ever had in my entire life,” she told People. Her spontaneous action turned into a comical sight, with even Joshua barely able to hold back his laughter. The man of the moment revealed it was initially his plan to take off the glasses and throw them into the lake along the Weston Town Center.

“Originally, my plan was to throw the glasses in the water and never see them again. But she stole my bit,” the outlet quoted Angelina’s boyfriend as saying. Emphasizing that she “spared” her partner’s shades, Angelina added, “I looked up and all I saw was the most contorted reflection of myself in his sunglasses. I was like, ‘I don’t need to feel ugly right now. I’m being proposed to.’ So, I grabbed them and tossed them.”

The couple was accompanied by one of their friends, who was recording the joyful proposal in this beautiful setting. Additionally, when Joshua was preparing to get down on one knee, a string quartet began playing songs from the pair's favorite movie, “Fantastic Mr. Fox.”

Angelina and Joshua took almost one year to elevate their playful relationship to the next level through this engagement. The duo reportedly met for the first time at their university’s Christmas show nearly a year ago. Before deciding to tie the knot, the young couple secretly purchased the rings for each other during the same month and waited for their families to join in the celebrations. Referring to their proposal as an extremely “beautiful moment,” Joshua added, “I went back and watched the video the other day, and I was just in tears.”

Joshua's girlfriend from their college years, who is now his fiancée, was also overwhelmed that they had come this far together, supporting one another. Angelina shared with the outlet, “I legit thought the string quartet was just kind of there, and I thought we’re just going to hang out there because it’s fancy.” Meanwhile, the Florida-based couple’s video managed to garner widespread attention on social media, receiving 4.6 million views, 507.6K likes, and countless reactions.
