She added, "My wedding was truly the best day of my life. I spent so much time planning all the details and I think that really paid off." Anderson hopes to donate her jumpsuit, which she considers a work of art, to a museum if possible.

The bride shortened the 40-year-old wedding dress to a little above knee length and thoughtfully retained the bow that originally adorned the dress. The mom was brimming with joy and couldn't help but admire what her daughter had done with her legacy. "My heart is bursting. She was so happy. It was so special," the bride mentioned.
