Some people experience the most tragic events on what should have been one of the best days of their lives. However, this bride's story shows that there are ways to cope with such things, and eventually grow into a stronger person through the process. The bride, Rachel Siegel–who goes by @funkyrbs on TikTok–was left at the altar by her fiancé and instead of breaking down, she faced the rejection like a true boss. Siegel took agency of her emotions most beautifully and candidly shared her feelings about the experience online.

In a video, the bride stood in her wedding attire with a big smile and a drink in her hand as she re-introduced herself to the world. "My name is Rachel Siegel and my fiancé just left me at the altar," Siegel said with a bright smile. She raised her arms as one of her friends yelled out, "And she's so beautiful." The caption read, "Allow me to reintroduce myself."

In another video, Siegel, still in her wedding dress, was dancing with her friends on what appeared to be a bus, vibing to Paramore's "Ain't It Fun." Everyone in the video seemed to be having the time of their lives, thoroughly enjoying themselves.

Siegel later posted a third video to address comments that enquired about what went down on her wedding day. She expressed that she wasn't ready to share her full story yet but wanted to provide some context about what had happened. "I'm not ready to talk about it yet, but when I'm ready to share more, I'll be here with you all," Siegel remarked. "Thank you for being here. I am so grateful for you all." She added, "In the meantime, I can share small moments from a few of the most painful days of my life that turned into something very beautiful." She clarified that she hadn't posted the video for revenge or to make anyone feel bad. "It was to take ownership of a situation that happened to me and to have power over that situation," the former bride-to-be explained.

"I wanted to be the first one to tell the world what had happened. My goal behind sharing this was to tell people that in one of the darkest, loneliest and hardest moments in your life, there can be so much support and love found and that's what I experienced," she explained. "Because although I lost a great love, I was shown immense love. I don't want anyone to feel any negativity through this. I don't know what's going to happen from here, but all I know is that having you all here with me has made what's been really hard even just a little bit lighter." People took to the comments section of the video to support Siegel.

@emilyjoneslandry wrote, "It's a beautiful soul that gets left at the altar and is still worried about the feelings of the other person." @melanie.040404 commented, "Being left at the altar is 1000% better than marrying that person. You deserve a person who chooses you every time." @wyo_momma shared, "I was left at the altar. He was cheating on me. Married her ten days later. He did me the best favor. It's not easy, but it looks like you have great support."
