The groom even turned to the groomsmen to see if they had registered the bride's unique outfit. The internet thought that was truly wholesome.
Norms and traditions might not agree with every person's individuality, so they choose to put their spin on them. However, receiving support from their loved ones for the same could probably mean the world to a person. A groom's reaction to the bride's unique wedding dress is perhaps the kind of support anyone would wish for. The groom's wholesome response was shared by the video production agency, Atlanta Wedding Videographer (@woodellproductions) on Instagram. The video received a wholesome reaction from the internet.
The groom was standing with his groomsmen as the clip began. The moment the bride entered, the man gasped. He raised his arms up in the air and screamed, "Yes." Everybody chuckled a little at his reaction, but the man was simply too excited. He turned to his groomsmen, who nodded in return. He gasped again and put his hands on his knees in complete shock as the bride kept walking down the aisle with her dad. The woman was wearing a bright red wedding gown instead of the traditional white one. She was carrying a black lantern instead of a bouquet. She held onto her dad's hand, who was wearing a purple shirt. The bride's nail paint also matched her father's shirt. Huge red crystals were hanging from the lantern she was carrying.
On the other side, the groom couldn't close his mouth because of surprise and excitement the entire time. He kept his hand on his face until the bride reached the altar. "Marriage, what is marriage," the officiant announced. "Well, we are about to find out," he said as the crowd laughed. "Who gives this woman to wed this man?" he asked. The dad answered that he would. "Step forward, please." The dad gave the bride's hand to the groom and the couple stood in front of the officiant, smiling at each other. "Hands down the greatest groom reaction I have witnessed," the text overlay of the video read. People took to the comments section of the video to appreciate the bride's unique wedding dress and the groom's heartwarming reaction.
@_katedesco wrote, "Literally, I love this. The hobbit song, the princess bride reference, her in general, his reaction. Yes is the correct response." @soozyq5791 commented, "I really love how women step away from traditional dresses for their weddings - Your wedding should reflect who you are and your personality - not what others think a wedding should be. I would never wear white or cream. Black or purple for me." @zunzhine7 remarked, "When two people find each other and their weirdness lights each other and encourages each other, it's a beautiful sight to see. It doesn't matter what anyone thinks - this is THEIR world and they are happy in each other’s presence."
@paulgalyon shared, "By the look in his eyes and hers. They are soul mates and he’s absolutely speechless of her and has a look of happiness." @sharonstory32 expressed, "So you guys need a history lesson. The white wedding didn't start until 1840 when Queen Victoria married Albert. Until then, most brides were married in their 'best dress' regardless of color...So, it has always been a fashion statement. Get over it. Let the couple have the wedding they want and keep your thoughts out of it."
