A wedding day is a special celebration in people's lives, where guests often wonder what's the best gift to give the lovely couple. Besides gifting, another prevalent element during wedding receptions is gate-crashers. Those who come for the food and frolic can be a nuisance. However, @gatsby.and.daisy, an account dedicated to two felines and handled by a couple, Matt and Cara, shared that the celebrations were illuminated with a gate-crasher, who also happened to bring them the best gift ever. In the viral TikTok video, the couple is seen exchanging vows on their big day when something amusing and adorable takes place.

The couple is sharing a symbolic and meaningful moment during the wedding ceremony as they exchange vows. With the attendants, the couple and the officiant in the picture, the entourage is seen giggling and chuckling while the groom reads his vows. What is meant to be an emotional and priceless moment is being tackled rather casually and the bride is not game for it. The text overlay reads, "All we noticed was everyone laughing during our vows and I was kind of annoyed." As the bride looks around towards her girls to ask them to be quiet, they burst into laughter and reveal the hilarious reason why.

As soon as the couple realizes, they are surprised by their findings. The couple turns around only to find one of the most precious things they adore. As they point towards the tiny gate-crasher, they can't help but be delighted. "We are huge cat people. Our names together are Catt. We even had a cat cake topper. So this was kind of crazy." As the couple can't believe their eyes, they try to carry on with the ceremony. "She quieted down after this for the rest of the ceremony, but it truly felt like a sign," the text in the video continues. The next frame quickly cuts to the adorable gate-crasher, a gray tabby cat whom the couple has now adopted and named her Daisy.

"The venue then told us that they caught her and we knew we had to have her," the text continues. "She has been the perfect addition. Welcome home, Daisy!" the text concludes. Having received millions of views and likes on the video, people can't get enough of the fact that the kitten crashed at a couple's wedding and that the couple were hard-core cat lovers. @mementocori said, "Kittens were wedding gifts many years ago in Scotland. They believed a cat in a home would keep the family together and bring good luck."

@sodielicious said, “She’s lying on her wedding day? No, adoption day!” @neebsjones00 impersonated the cat and said, “I am joining this family.” Several others spoke about how it was meant for the cat to appear at the right place at the right time. Others were confident that it was magic for the couple on their big day. @jordenmoktan joked and said, “I wish it would cut to him holding the cat in his arms and saying his vows.” @lisamarie10 hinted towards it being a mesmerizing coincidence and said, “Funny thing is her fur kind of matches the bridesmaid dresses.”
