After a beach proposal, he made her watch the entire 10-month-long BTS journey, and her reaction made the moment even more special

When Jye de Zylva (@jyedezylva on Instagram) finally decided it was time to propose to his girlfriend, he grabbed his camera to document the entire journey. Safe to say — it turned out to be one of the best decisions he ever made. After proposing to Charlie a.k.a. Charlotte, his girlfriend, at a dreamy location, Zylva made her watch the entire 10-month-long behind-the-scenes journey, and her reaction made the moment even more special.
Zylva wanted his girlfriend — now fiancée — to know exactly how he planned her entire proposal. Interestingly, almost everyone in their friends and family knew about the proposal except Charlie. In fact, Zylva had asked her mom's permission before proposing, and he had recorded it to show it to his fiancée after the proposal.
When the day finally arrived, and Zylva played the video in front of her, Charlie was so overwhelmed that she couldn't control her tears. "I am literally going to watch it every single day for the rest of my life," she confessed. Zylva was also extremely proud of his decision to document the entire journey, which now serves as a lasting reminder of all the efforts he made to make his partner feel special.
"Picking up a camera was the best decision I’ve ever made. It truly brings me so much joy to have these memories to look back on," he wrote in the caption.
Zylva proposed to Charlie at Tugun Beach in Australia and soon after gave her yet another surprise. Well, he had already booked a flight for both of them to go back to Adelaide. Zylva had planned a surprise party with their friends and family, but had told Charlie that they were going to surprise her mom. As expected, when Charlie entered her mom's home, she screamed, looking at all the familiar faces celebrating her new beginnings.
Everyone has different dreams about their proposals; some like it simple and cozy, while others dream of extravagant proposals. A YouGov survey revealed that while 75% of Americans favor simple proposals, only 7% prefer elaborate ones.
The survey also found that 70% of respondents consider private proposals to be better, while 8% prefer public proposals. Zylva's proposal was a bit of both. While he did propose to her privately, the fact that they made a video and included their friends and families made the moment even more special.

Meanwhile, reacting to the Instagram reel, @kerby_h commented, "Imagine your kids (if you choose to have them) watching this and getting to see how intentional Dad is and how adored Mom is. Those hypothetical stranger children on the internet will be the luckiest." @kimmy_bze said, "My fiancé did this for me, and I cried like a baby. I am beyond blessed to get married to this wonderful man." Similarly, @jocellynnhernandez wrote, "This has to be the cutest thing anyone has ever done."
