After a few minutes, the child looks a bit overwhelmed so his teacher asks his classmates to give him space.
Friendships among younger kids are completely different compared to that of adults. Their innocence and love are what adults lack after growing up and they share that innocence and love mutually. Moreover, when they meet after a long time, it is even more visible. In a heart-warming video posted on TikTok by a mom @createdbykrysti, her son Cayson went back to meet his classmates from his previous school and the way they all hug him is the sweetest thing one could watch.
As soon as Cayson enters his old classroom, the first boy who sees him runs and hugs him tightly, and then in an instant, the whole class is seen hugging him. After a few minutes, the child looks a bit overwhelmed so his teacher asks his classmates, "Make a way! Make a way!" Then his friends make a queue and hug him one by one. The mom can be heard saying, "This is so sweet." Some of the kids while hugging him tell him how much they missed him.
The video went viral with 1.4 million views and it is captioned, "Cayson’s VPK teacher asked us if we can come to graduation & surprise his class! We moved in February and Cayson missed them so much, so I couldn't say no. The excitement and love that is in this video was amazing to see. I wish we can all be like these kiddos…our world needs it!"
Many on the social media platform were emotional after seeing the kids' reunion. @leahvecchione commented, "Bawlingggggggg the first little boy misses his bestie." @jordanj2e wrote, “'I missed you, Cayson,' was so sincere…. how absolutely sweet and kind. @pittsjordyn said, "Man if the love and innocence between these kids continued on to adulthood all around the world… this world would be so damn different." @let_itbe shared, "The impact your young child has already made on his peers. imagine the man he will someday become. absolutely amazing! love this." @nadianwilliams1 expressed, "The WHOLE class crying. That just shows how much of a sweet boy he is."
Classmates are often competitive with each other when it comes to grades and class performance However, that’s not the case with this 11th grader. A history teacher at County Central High School, Winston Lee, saw a handwritten note of one of his students on his WWII test sheet. It read: "If you could, can you give my bonus points to whoever scores the lowest?" Overwhelmed by his student's gesture, the teacher shared the positive incident with others. "One of my guys, a straight A+ guy, offers up his 5 bonus points to someone in need. Anyone. Totally offering up what is rightfully his, his earning, to any peer that may have been struggling especially hard the day of the test," Lee wrote.
"He didn’t care if he considered them a friend, didn’t care if they were cool, didn’t matter to him what situation had caused them to score lower, he just wanted to help, be kind, commit a loving act. This note gave me so much hope. Let us all be a little more like this young man," he added.
The teacher was pleasantly surprised as in his 12 years of teaching he had never received a request like this from a student.
