Boy performs cover of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and the internet loves it

This version of "Bohemian Rhapsody" is sure to leave you stunned. In a video posted on Twitter, a boy can be seen performing Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" and his voice is just magical. He looks confident and plays his notes on the piano while singing the song. He melted many hearts on the internet as he performed the song and his energy is contagious.

Not much is known about the child's identity. He is sporting shorts and a T-shirt with headphones and gives a wide smile at the end. The video has been captioned, "Young boy performs a cover of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' on the piano. What a talent!"

People could not stop appreciating the child for his skills. A user wrote, "Wow! How beautiful! What a talent, what a voice, and then the killing smile." Another wrote, "Can't wait to buy this kid's music when the time comes! Keep going, young person!!! You are AMAZING, that was FANTASTIC!!" Another said, "It's his singing that got to me more than his piano playing. Fantastic!" Some even called him a reincarnation of Freddie Mercury. A user wrote, "Love it! Now it’s time to watch Freddie Mercury." Another said, "Rare footage of a young Freddie Mercury."

In February, the song was performed in the Maori language. The group Hātea Kapa Haka sang the song on February 21, 2022, at New Zealand's national kapa haka festival, Te Matatini, in Wellington. The group collaborated with musical artist William Waiirua to create the song. It was a tribute to Freddie Mercury and to celebrate the movie. The original song was released in 1975. Since then, it has become very popular and has topped charts around the world and sold more than six million copies, as reported by My Modern Met. Once the movie, "Bohemian Rhapsody" was released based on Freddie Mercury's life, it became one of the most streamed songs from the 20th century. 

Queen guitarist Brian remembered the early 70s when they were first given a glimpse of the song by Mercury. May said in 2008, “I remember Freddie coming in with loads of bits of paper from his dad’s work, like Post-it notes, and pounding on the piano." “He played the piano like most people play the drums. And this song he had was full of gaps where he explained that something operatic would happen here and so on. He’d worked out the harmonies in his head,” according to uDiscoverMusic.

He added that Mercury told his bandmates that he had material for three songs but instead, he wanted to make it into one long extravaganza. The song was rehearsed at Ridge Farm Studio in mid-1975 and reportedly they spent three weeks honing the song at Penrhos Court in Herefordshire. On August 24, 1975, they started recording the song at the Rockfield Studios in Monmouth, Wales. May describe that time as "just the biggest thrill."

Moreover, Mercury put "Galileo" into the lyrics for May as he was passionate about astronomy and went on to get a Ph.D. in astrophysics.
