The 5-year-old even requested "educated gift bags" offering details about passengers who had sailed on the fateful maiden voyage of RMS Titanic.
Children thoroughly enjoy themed parties, as they provide an opportunity to celebrate their special day immersed in a magical world inspired by their favorite fictional realms. Parents go to great lengths to transform these imaginative visions into reality, ensuring their little ones experience pure joy and happiness. However, a young boy who gained viral attention on TikTok took his themed birthday party requests to a whole new level, leaving many intrigued by his unique and unusual ideas.
The boy's mother, Anyssa—who goes by @thescallywagfam on TikTok—shared a sweet carousel post on TikTok featuring her 5-year-old son and his Titanic-themed birthday party.
People were surprised to see such a young kid showing interest in a subject that is pretty tragic in reality. The little boy even demanded to have gift bags in the party which will be divided between who had died and who had survived on the maiden voyage of the doomed ship. The series of photos Anyssa posted, included a watermelon with various types of fruits spilling out of it and resembling a sunken ship. The pictures of the goodie bags her son wanted were also color coded where blue bags indicated the passengers who survived and the red ones indicated those who passed away on Titanic.
The bags had handwritten information pasted on them such as images, names, birthdays, last residence, class, ticket numbers and even the passengers' reason for traveling on Titanic. The birthday boy wanted his special day to be Titanic-themed because he apparently wanted to educate his friends and family about his fascinating interests, per Your Tango. The kid had invested a good deal of effort and planning to turn his dream birthday bash into a reality.

Along with the pictures of the goodie bags and Anyssa's son with the iconic ship drawn on his cake, the mom also put up a picture of their DIY piñata which was modeled after the Titanic as well and it had a label on it that read RMS Titanic. The birthday boy even had his ideal outfit ready as he dressed up as Captain Edward John Smith, the British marine officer who was the captain of the ship when it sank in 1912.

Several netizens praised the family to help the kid organize his "odd" but ideal birthday party. A few others shared their fascination with the ill-fated ship as well as admitted to having kids who are obsessed with Titanic just like Anyssa's son. There are times when kids demand something extravagant like buying them something expensive for their birthday or book theme parks to celebrate their lavish birthday parties. But there is no doubt that this 5-year-old's unusual request made up for a uniquely themed party people have probably never seen before. He just might grow up to become heavily interested in history and related subjects.
